I brought my drone in for repair at this facility after confirming they could fix it on the phone. I drop my drone off for repair where the man behind the counter charges me $150 for the replacement arm after I pick up the drone just before leaving for a holiday. I noticed that the battery is crammed into the drone in the wrong direction for it not to fit right after leaving for vacation I try to fly the drone and notice it has an hardware error, I then called iPhone doctor to see what the problem could be. He said that I should try to update the drone and see if that fix the problem there were no updates required for the drum. I then suggest that it says it has a hardware problem he says that they tested the drone and it flew perfectly fine before handing it to me . I told him that the battery was actually not in the drone in the right way when you handed it to me, so I dont believe that he has flew it. While on vacation in Washington state, I took the drone to a tech shop to have them inspect it and see what was actually wrong with the drone upon closer inspection the repair shop found pry marks on the case of the drone and a large glob of solder material connecting multiple wires, which he suggested shorted out the *** board the repair man in Washington, then told me that the drone was completely fried, and would need an entirely new *** board or to be completely replaced. After returning to ********* from my vacation I return to iPhone doctor with my drone and record the entire interaction with my GoPro where I asked them to repair my drone and told them everything that happened at the other repair shop where the repair man inspected and diagnosed my drone completely for free right in front of me and they then took my drone free of charge claiming that they would repair it for me and correct their mistake It has now been four weeks since I dropped off the drone so I called them to see how it was coming along. They now say they wont fix it or give it back evenBusiness response

The job that customer paid for is completed and finished. IT IS CLEARLY stated in our policies that any pre-existing damages any device has, our office is NOT responsible for. He wants a brand new drone that was crashed completely and he only came to repair an arm not the entire drone.
He can pick up his drone and will be blocked from doing any business with us permanently. We don't appreciate anyone who wants to take advantage of a situation they caused. WE have been in business for 13 years AND we clearly understand this guy's unreasonable claims and demands.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not asking for an entirely new drone. And the drone was not damaged before hand at all other than a snapped arm. You destroyed the motherboard when you did a poor solder job and shorted out the connections. You destroyed my property when I went to you to fix it. I have video evidence of me confronting you and you assumed responsibility and took my drone BACK to fix your mistake! Then 4 weeks later it turns out you were just holding my drone hostage this whole time. All I want is you to fix the mistake you made when you did a poor repair. I also have a statement from the other shop saying he did nothing to the drone but observed and inspect YOUR mistake.

The customer voided its warranty from us as soon as he took it and someone else opened the drone. We are not responsible for that. Drone was in perfect condition when he took it from our repair shop and now he is blaming us for what ever another shop opened it. He should have brought it back to us if he had issues with it as soon as he saw there was an issue.
Unfortunately, we don't take responsibility nor we honor warranties if you take your device to another repair shop after we repaired it.
We would rather refuse service and as it appears this customer is trying to blame us for something we did not do.

I took my phone to this retailer to get the screen fixed and they charged me $25 to first check the phone to see if repairing the screen would work. I paid this fee and they sold me a screen that appeared to work for $200. When I got home to connect my phone and transfer all my data the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth we're not connecting. The phone is unusable at this point and we believe they damaged it when they replaced the screen. At this point we went from a broken screen to a phone that cannot be used. The retailer said that we needed to reset the phone but first to back up all of our data. They also said that if resetting the phone did not work they would replace the screen. We went back to have this done and they did not have any screens available so they sent us to another store. We drove there and the associate at that 2nd store told us that we had to reset the phone before he did anything. We cannot reset the phone so we are requesting that they simply give us back our broken screen and take back the screen that they sold us. The store associate stated that the manager would only refund us back $100 of the $200 that we paid for the screen. We understand that the first $25 was to check the phone and was not refundable, but they won't refund us what we paid for the screen. We have been in possession of the screen that they sold us that does not work for two days and they will not give us a full refund. Essentially we are paying them $125 to remove the broken screen, install one that doesn't work, then remove it and re-install our broken screen. We should be requesting that they fix the phone they damaged (that costed us ~$1,200) but we do not want to do business with them. We are only requesting a refund of the $200 we paid for the screen we will give back.
