I saw this doctor in Nov 2022. I ordered 2 pair of glasses which didn't come in unitl late Dec early Jan 2023. (Well one pair came in them). When inquiring about the 2nd pair I was provided several reasons for the delay. None of them making any sense to me, but again I', waiting. I brought the first pair back and had them put my script from 7 years ago in the frame. When the 2nd pair came in I tried them for a week, but it was clear the one lens was very distorted. I then returned them on 2/17/23 and as of last week the office still states there is "nothing yet". I find this hard to believe that a single vision lens would take so long to process. The office has been paid for a service yet I am the one suffering. I just want my glasses so I can pay for an exam out of pocket and get a prescription that works.Business response

Called business and spoke with manager who stated that they left the consumer a message stating that the situation is out of their control. The glasses were sent to ****** ****** to be repaired, in which the consumer's insurance requested. We have called the insurance company and they have not gotten back to us. We advised the consumer that she should not be calling us, she should be calling her insurance.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The doctor is contracted with ***** ******. There have been multiple delays in receiving my benefits. ***** ****** and this office should be partnering together to resolve this as they are contracted to do so. As a **** Union member I am not able to speak with ***** ******. I was able to speak with my union and they were advised the provider is to contact ***** ****** directly. The office has advised me there is long wait times when calling so they disconnect the call. This is not my challenge. This is between the dr office and ***** ******. Regards, ****** *****
