I used their services for my move to *********** and back to ******* and they lost half of my belongings. I spoke to one of the managers ****** and he said that he would call me back and never did. He said he gave all my stuff when I picked it up, as he was not present when his worker was by himself working bringing my stuff up from the back of the warehouse. Then he came down from the office to check off the boxes that he didnt even double check. Then when I called him on it he said that I should have opened the boxes on the street. But when I called he didnt care he didnt even try to tell me anything to try to correct the situation. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.La Rosa del Monte Express Response

I sent 7 boxes to *********** from ************ in September 2023 my boxes took 1 month to get there which was great!!!!!! Unfortunately i had to move back to ************ and once i notify **** del monte that i needed my boxes shipped back ,I was told that i had to email the person in charge of such procedure. I ****** the reason y and asked how much was it goung to cost to ship it back. I wrote to emals and un successful calls,i waited patiencenly with no answer. I then went to the office in ************ and inquire about my boxes and was told that i had to make a payment before the boxes were sent.I informed the manager that i had proof of emails and phone calls with negative results. I had to make a payment, fee for stocking and a fee to shipped my boxes i asked y it took me to visit the office to have my boxes retruned. I paid and asked if my total was everything the manager said yes.After 3 months I finally received my boxes with a hidden fee of an extra ***** that was never told to me this company is irresponsible there staff are unprofessional and don't care about the customer. It's sad that i had to go through this terrible process wirh them I don't ever want to do business with this company Ever!!!!!!! My anxiety was up the roof .I paid them the ***** because they wouldn't release my boxes!!!!!La Rosa del Monte Express Response

The boxes arrived in *********** on October 25, 2023. The company was already aware that the boxes would return to ** because ************** had sent an email on October 9, 2023. The charges that were charged are the charges in this type of situation. The boxes took a while to arrive in PA because there were not enough shipments for that state. Furthermore, we are a company that depends on maritime traffic and weather conditions. *************** was informed at all times about the handling of her boxes. This company took our sofa from ****** to ***********. Today, I received the very first communication from them titled Auction Notice, first notice. In it, the company states that they have been storing since our shipment arrived on December 1, 2023. They went on to state that they have notified us repeatedly that we have a balance pending. Of course, this is completely false. They want $476.53 to "continue offering storage service..." Then they gave me 10 days to pay, or they will "auction our article to cover their costs..."Looks like this is the way they fleece their customers for extra money apart from their contractual obligation. Of course, if proven in a court of law, this would constitute fraud. Now the process of complaining to the **** and both of the consumer rights agencies of ************* and *********** begins. I tried unsuccessfully to reach their supervisor *************************** today because their clerks just kept repeating that this "storage fee" has to be paid before they can release my furniture. Our documents indicate that on November 20, 2023, you were called and told that the move had arrived and that you had 5 days to pick it up. He was also told that after 5 days he would start paying for storage. It was not until a letter was sent to your postal address that you contacted us. We recommend that you visit our office as soon as possible or call ****************** as soon as possible.La Rosa del Monte Express Response

On February 23, 2024, ********************** stopped by our warehouse and picked up his items at no storage cost even though his cargo had been available since November 16, 2023.Review from Marina P

You know the saying "you get what you pay for?" Well with this company it's *****% true I paid a relatively cheap price to move my belongings from ******** to ******* and not only is the wait 5-6 weeks (which they do tell you ahead of time) but they also dont even tell you when it arrives at the destination warehouse so I had to reach out on the 6th week and they say "oh yeah we've had your stuff here when do you want it delivered?" Once my things were delivered I get a call saying I'm sorry to inform you but items from your delivery were left back in ********. That was just one thing but when they brought my belongings the ALL of the boxes were CRUSHED and or items had to be replaced with the company's boxes bc of how BAD the conditions of the original box (THAT I BOUGHT) were! To put the cherry on top my 65" ******* got here BROKEN!! They said to put in a claim and so I did on August 7th 2023. I was told I'd get a decision in about 1 week and a half on whether they'd refund me the money for the tv or replace it. It is now August 31st and I have not received a phone call or email regarding my TV despite the NUMEROUS attempts to find out what is the status. I just get the run around and get told to call this person or that person and or call another time or day! THIS COMPANY AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!!La Rosa del Monte Express Response

I paid $$$ and about 10% of my belongings was delivered. Contacted them on phone and via email and never received a response to handle the problem. I shipped 46 ********** boxes and other things. I only received 4 ho e depot boxes. Some stuff they open my boxes kept most if my stuff and used cardboard corrugated and wrapped a few of my stuff. I paid $941 for insurance. 2 new night stands destroyed, my new leather recliner cut by them and doesn't work anymore. My galery painting disappeared.I paid well over $4,500;and I lost $13,000 on what I shipped.La Rosa del Monte Express Response

Regarding this case, our documents indicate that ******************* move was delivered on June 23, 2022, without any allegation of damage or loss. Seventeen later an email was received with some allegations. In addition, on the day of delivery they signed a release authorizing to leave the move packed and taking any damage. In general, *************** had estimated to send 25 boxes and on the day of collection she added 6 more boxes, making a total of 31 boxes. The same ones that were delivered on June 23, 2022. In any case, we have searched our warehouses with negative results.Customer Response

****** del Monte delivered SOME of my belongings. HOWEVER, they stole over $13,000 of my belongings. They are scammers. They wrote a charge of $942 for insurance, but they combined that amount on the charges and on the final document was already had it added, but not stated in all documents. I called for insurance on things missing such as the seat of my mobility chair and the sashed new leather recliner and2 brand new night stands. The guys that delivered had made their own access menus pre completed, flipped the pages and told me to sign here and there. But covering all the papers. They picked up all my belongings from 2 storages in PR which have video surveillance and it was recorded all the things La **** Del Monte took to be shipped. *************** salesmen made quote on what originally I thought will be shipped - 25 Bo es but finl count were 46 ********** boxes I PACKED. I ONLY RECEIVED 4 ********** BOXES. and what I received was scattered things wrapped on their cardboard as if they packed a fridge. THEY OPENED ALL MY BELONGINGS AND STOLE MY STUFF. My clothes, kitchen stuff, my sewing stuff for which I had an atelier was stolen. My Juki industrial machine destroyed and left into pieces.Review from Alexander R.

I called to make arrangements to have our vehicle shipped - over the phone I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its destination - when we dropped it off we were then told 6 to 8 weeks - we shipped the vehicle from their branch in *********, ************* on May 24, 2021 to *********** - 18 weeks later and our vehicle does not appear - we called the branch that charged us $ ******** to shipped the vehicle and they couldn't even give us a status of the vehicle because according to them the problem was with the branch in Toa Baja, *********** as if they were not the same company???? - we had been calling the branch in Toa Baja for months and they wouldn't even take our calls - finally 22 weeks later on October 15, 2021 we received a call indicating the our vehicle had arrived and that we could pick it up as early as Monday October the 18th - my wife flew down on October the 17th and picked it up on Monday October the 18th - to top it all off the vehicle arrived damaged - she immediately before leaving their lot filed a claim with them on the damage - they told her to get a repair estimate from a body shop - the estimate was over $700.00 - now they are telling us they will only be paying $120.00 - this is the worse company I have ever had to deal with from beginning to end - the $35.00 of the $******** we paid up front to have our vehicle shipped was an insurance coverage that was supposed to cover up to $3,000.00 - the customer service at both branches is terrible - they almost never pick up their phones, never call you back when you leave a message and never return your emaills - FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ALL THE WAYLa Rosa del Monte Express Response

Due to the pandemic the moving industry has been logistically affected. This means that in most cases it has taken longer than usual. You received an offer of $ ****** because the insurance coverage you purchased was $ ***** for the payment of $ *****. This is indicative that you insured 5% of the current value.Customer Response

They charged me $35.00 automatically and never explained what or how much the $35.00 insurance covered so I didn't pick anything as I wasn't given any options - Now I'm assuming that the $35.00 for the $1,000.00 insurance would cover the $700.00 estimate on the damages
