The service provided on May 25th, 2023 I paid Kaylynn $450.00 she requested full payment through ******* in order to book the appointment. Kaylynn posted on her hair page that she had blonde 22" hand tied weft hair extensions for $455 and this included the install for free. I messaged Kaylynn asking how many packs of hair it included she said it goes by grams and she measures to each person. I asked how many grams is in the pack she stated its different per person.I sent payment and set up the appointment for May 25th. I sent the payment May 13th, 2023. The day of the appointment Kaylynn text me and states it has to go from from 2 to 4pm. I get to the address its her home, I go in and the hair is out on a tray no package or anything, get the service done, took about an hour to do. I leave, i get home and look at the back its very thin, I wait a few days because Kaylynn said once i wash it the hair will be fuller, I told her the brand shampoo and conditioner i have which is for extentions she said yes its good. I washed and dried my hair, it bec ame frizzy, matted and coming out in clumos so i messaged her and sent photos she said she would contact the company, i also told her the wefts are sticking out on the sides you can see them she said she can fix it so i go back and she resewed the ends but the wefts were still visible. I go home and message her a few days later telling her the wefts are now coming out and 2 of the rows are half way hanging she states its because my hair is thin. Then that should have been said prior to providing the service. She said she would get new hair, I stated im not satisfied with the qualitiy of the hair or the install, I said I am requesting a refund of my money & proof of her license she wouldn't give me,she said she's never had an issue with anyones hair before and this is wild. I asked for her cosmetology license number and that I was in contact with BBB she said they can look up her info & wouldn't give me the number for her licBusiness response

Hello I'm Kay-lynn and i have been doing hair for ten years. Graduated from cos school in 2013 license is currently not up to date and i don't currently color or cut hair! I obtained my naturally stylist license and just do hair extensions only. She had purchased hair that someone else did not claim, hair is Bombay hair and i use this hair on an every day basis , not one complain. Sat her down her hair was comprised short and not healthy at all. Installed hair and the after result is beautiful. I did summit a pic of that. She went home washed hair and said it was frizzy and matted. She sent me pics. Right of the jump i wanted to make it better and contacted the company , send them the pic she had sent me and they said we will get a new box out to you. Refunds are not avail on hair, it's like under garments , but the company wanted to make this better as i do purchase a lot of hair from them. Told her hey new box will be sent out, and if you don't like this method we can try a different one and she refused. Provided pics for that as well. Lots of things can make hair look like that. Shampoo that isn't not correct, well water and just lack of maintenance, sleeping with silk pillow. This is a luxury service and this is the very complaint ever like this.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Kaylynn did offer to do the extensions a different way and I declined. I told her, even though I was not satisfied with the hair. I also was not satisfied with the install of the hair, because not even a week of having it. The website were already hanging halfway off of my hair and coming out and sticking out Kaylynn then said to me that luckily in my case she could return the hair, and that the refund would come from her. I also submitted photos of this conversation. So I agreed and asked her just to keep me posted with that happening. I also want to add that in her response she stated that my hair was unhealthy and damaged so that was never said at the appointment. I had asked about my hair because it is short and she said that it’s fine and she’s seen worse I said I was just wondering how it would blend because my hair is thin and short she said your hair is thin but you have a lot of it so it’s fine so if she felt that my hair was not good enough for the install then she should’ve never provided the service but she provided the service anyway if that’s how she felt but never verbalized it to me. Unfortunately hair is not refundable and that's stated on my hair website. Other method and new hair was offered. She declined. Will not do anything more with this. Thank you.
