12/15 gave contractor $3000 for spray foam/mice work after meeting and reviewing job, He cashed check at my bank and sent "Estimate" via email. Tried afternoon prior to when job could be done and couldn't reach contractor by text, phone call nor email. (found business has two different names, two different phone numbers and different addresses with no street #). The next afternoon, after I said I wanted $ refunded, he sent text with all the reasons he hadn't been in touch. I said again I wanted $ refunded. He promised work would be done on Friday and I would be satisfied. He was to arrive at 9AM. 9 came and went, I phoned and got no response, nor to a text, until again I said I wanted my $ back then I get excuses as to why it is now near 11AM and he hasn't arrived. With such a late start he never would have finished all of the work and this was a holiday weekend I didn't know if the job would be finished if he even started.Customer response

Kris B******* with Seal Tight Spray Foam has been working in my home since 2/14/22 and today is 3/22/22 on multiple projects. He and his workers continually damage my home and have poor workmanship so they have to keep coming back to correct their mistakes. He states when he will arrive and then shows up many hours late, or never at all. He still has multiple issues to take care of and says it will be done but then never gets them done. He has left me without heat for (4) days bleeding my radiators dry and taking my circulator to get fixed. I fronted him $500 for parts and he refuses to provide me with a receipt of money used and return unused money. He refuses to give an update on where we are in getting the parts. He refuses to say when he is coming back to install it and refill my radiators. The attic stairwell needs to be redone due to sloppy imperfections. He needs to re-nail my vinyl window covers and resolve sloppy and unprofessional paint issue. He needs to joint compound a window frame with a hole in it that he created. He needs to clean my sink of all the harsh chemicals that he used. He needs to replace a piece of wood he broke on a window sill. He needs to hang a planter hanger. He needs to rehang artwork. He needs to put back a window screen he took out. He needs to remove garbage from inside and outside of the house. He needs to fix the kitchen window that he broke because he crawled out of it one night (by his own admission). The top wood frame of the living room windows needs to be readjusted, there is a gap. He needs to install new kitchen floor because he damaged it beyond repair. He has a list of all these things.Business response

Ok im going to take it from the top. Mine and ****** work relationship started off on the right foot it seemed. I was called to her home for a estimate to remove all existing fiberglass insulation in her attic and replace it with spray foam. We agreed on a price and the following week we executed the job just as described in the proposal. She was happy, she paid and that was that. Two days later, she called saying there was absolutely no change in the house as far as cold spots and drafty areas. I told her I would come see what was going on and figure out a way to address the problem. I showed up and could feel cold spots throughout the home and could feel that the walls ( nothing to do with the attic ) were cold to the touch. Since ***** and I got along good at this point and she already spent a fair amount of money with me, I figured I would do her a tremendous favor and inject foam into the walls of her house. I told her that I wasn’t going to make any money off her and I would only charge her the price of the materials and insulate her whole house now. ( BIG MISTAKE ON MY PART ) so. A day or so before we were to start the work, I receive a list of DEMANDS( which I will Attach to this email ) in which I explained-ed to her that I was going to be doing the work for free and all she had to pay for was the chemical. She then told me ‘WE NEVER DISCUSSED ANOPTHER PENNY”| I knew I was going to have a hard time with ***** from here on out, but my reputation is the number one priority to my business and wanted to make sure I could keep her happy. on top of all this, my guys had moved a whole attic of clothing and belongings al the way to the basement and back after the attic was sprayed. We never do that but figured we would give her a helping hand. Sop now we are getting prepared to fill the walls and she tells me the house is ready, meaning that there was nothing in the rooms to get in our way. That wasn’t the case. The house was loaded with things. All the furniture, dining room etc. we worked around it anyway. Now, were doing all this for free. Then it turned into the stairwell having to be redone…for free because the tongue and groove wall wood was broken from the foam breaking from putting foam behind it. Then the painting, although there was paint from my guys on some of her trim, there was also paint from the last person that painted the home god knows how long ago that wasn’t our color even but we were blamed for all of it. Then we find out whoever put the windows on the house years ago never insulated between the window frame an d framing of the house to there were tons of gaps that were letting cold air right through the home, so that also got pawned olff onto us. As far as ,he timeframe. Nyes the job could have been done faster but we have other things going on that used time also, and I couldn’t have all my guys there at all tims.. as far as the pictures go, shes taken picture in the middle of the project while were still there doing the work, so those pictures are useless but she wanted to make a stink about jt all so bad that she pulled this shit complaining to you guys. The furnace circulator was installed yesterday and will be complete today. Every complaint that ***** has, isn’t even anthing to do with the work that we were hired and paid for except the false accusation about her circulator which as I said, is already installed, pictures this afternoon. I have laterally give her a job worth about 30,000 .$$ she is impossible to please. I have a flawless record because I make sure every customer is happy before we leave. I don’t have a single negative thing against me..ThanklCustomer response
