July 2022 Matt B**** GSL We had pool installed by concord pools Patio and other landscape around pool failure to complete details that are in the contract failure to fix problems that arose from poor quality work unresponsive Lied about various things with the work done. We paid over 40k for patio that is not what was in our plan and also has missing products.Business response

This is a response to **** ******’s Complaint.
On 6/15/2021 GSL contracted to do a Hardscaping project with the ***** ***** and **** ****** for a project slated to start in the late spring of 2022. Once the pool was being installed there were a couple of Additional Work Orders that were requested which included a paver pool coping, patio extension and the planting of 15 arborvitae. The job went on very smoothly and frequent conversation were had throughout the Project. There was additional work requested at the end of the project that included upgrading to sod for the front and back yard as well as adding some landscape lighting.
Upon completion of the project we were paid in full and the *****’s appeared to be very happy. We took some beautiful pictures with our drone and put a nice video together.
Later that fall, on November 14th **** had reached out about some brown spots on the Arborvitae, A rep from GSL had looked at the trees and said they were not dying and that we can monitor them. Early this spring, I meet with **** to look at the arborvitae, although they looked like they were getting better I offered to fertilize them at no charge. On June 2nd , I returned to the ***** residence to take a look at the trees and to look at a one of the pavers that seemed to have a jagged edge. At that time, the paver seemed to be normal but I told **** that we would remove and reset them, I also agreed to replace 5 of the arborvitae even thought they were looking much better.
We both agreed that this work would be better suited to be done when the pool would not be getting used so that we could be sure that the paver work would not get wet. We tried to navigate a date that the *****’s would be on vacation and we had dry weather for 24 hours following the paver work. The first date didn’t work due to the weather, on the second date **** asked us to hold off as they were going out of town.
At this point, I have met with ***** ***** (8/15) and had a great meeting to discuss resolving a couple of remaining issues. Once the border paver is agreed on we will get the work schedule asap.
