The gutters were installed wrong causing them to leak, the soffit was installed wrong and causing it to bow. They have been out 3 times to "fix" it and haven't. We contacted a contractor to look at the problem and he stated the gutters were done incorrectly along with the soffit. He spoke with Tony P****** the owner and the conversation got heated. Tony called me back and said they would come out a 4th time to fix the soffit "the right way". He said the gutters weren't installed wrong. However, Tony P****** has never stepped foot on our property to look at the work that was done. Before the company installed the gutters and soffit there was NO leak. Now it is leaking inside and outside and causing a slipping hazard for my business. I own and operate a NYS licensed daycare out of my home. I have parents and small children coming in and out of my home and the leak is right in front of the front door. when it warms up the water drips on ppl when they come in, when it gets cold it freezes and makes it slippery. We have to salt the area. Between the water leaking and the salt on our wood it is going to ruin our deck. I have all the emails from our conversations and have asked them not to step foot on our property (if they do we will call the police) and to not contact me again. We asked for a refund of the soffit work. The company refused to refund our $ and said they would "fix" it. They have been out 3 other times to "fix" it and they don't. At this point we want a refund for the entire project as it all needs to come down, new material needs to be bought and we need to hire someone to do it again, the right way.Business response

Customer claimed that gutters were causing her roof to leak which I explained to her it's impossible and its coming from her roof. We have been there only twice the first time we showed up Kelly sent our crew home because she was having a birthday party. My installers explain the reason the soffit is coming loose is because when the water hits the soffit its freezing and adding extra weight to cause the soffit drooping. We explained to Kelly we can come back to resecure the soffit but has to fix the roof leak or it will keep happening. Kelly's handymen call me (******* *******) swearing and yelling demanding a refund which we do not offer because we are offering to fix soffit even thro it was not caused by our gutter installation. We have record of every email offering to resolve the issue and Kelly was being very uncooperative and telling us not to step foot on her property or she will call the police. In conclusion I feel her handy man was only trying to get extra work out of Kelly at our expense. We have been installing seamless gutters for over 30 years and we have never had a single incident where our gutter installation has caused a soffit leak.
