I purchased three dresses online at ****' website, for a total of about $2,000 worth of merchandise, to try on for a wedding. I ended up not trying any of them on as a dress from ****** arrived first and was perfect. I returned the packages when I received them, following their return process and using their box and their label. I received an email from **** when they received my returned package. That was on October 3rd. On October 15th I called customer service because I saw nothing reflected on my credit card about the refund. I was told by the customer service *** that they don't issue refunds for 30 days after receiving the package back. Aside from the fact that this is an atrocious way to run the return aspect of your business when you're trying to be an online Merchant, I received no further communication from them at the 30-day ***** I waited until November 8th before contacting my credit card company to do a chargeback. Within 5 hours of having filed the chargeback with my credit card company, I suddenly received an email from **** saying that my credit has been issued. The whole experience seemed quite shady and not what I would expect from this company, especially since I have ordered dresses from them years ago and had no problem either with the purchase or the return. I don't think I would have gotten my $2,000 refund if I hadn't gotten my credit card company involved. Even aside from that, the idea that you would have to wait 30 days after they receive the return to receive a refund means nobody should be ordering from this company online.Review from Andrew E

Saks misleads, attempts to deceive/scam, and fails to delivery or correct their business practices when caught. I ordered a pair of ***** ****** Purple Label Shorts (RL's premium line) and received a pair of knock off **** ***** ****** (RL's inferior line) shorts instead, with Purple Label tags attached. This was an attempt to pass off the inferior line shorts as the premium ones, though they still had the Polo tags attached and the item's tag also wasn't aligned with the item description on the website. The shorts I ordered are 51% silk/51% linen and made in ********, the knock off I received is 100% linen and made in ***********. I contacted Saks on chat and they acknowledged the issue, but immediately ended the chat and initiated a return process without asking or notifying me. I called, and they also acknowledged the issue, but demanded I return the item. As per *** guidance, I am not required to incorrect items sent to me that I did not order, they are considered a "gift". As far as I am concerned, they have not sent me the product I paid for and are not willing to send it or issue a refund for it. I am simply requesting they follow through on delivering the item I ordered and respect the *** regulations relating to the incorrect item they sent.Review from Elizabeth M

I purchased a dress for my daughter for her rehearsal dinner that arrived while she was traveling out of the country for work and upon return it was too large and when I requested a return only for store credit because I realized it was 6 days outside the return window I was told no and that there are no one time exceptions for customers. I only requested a store credit - Saks loses nothing! Ive made calls and was told no supervisor was available but they would email me. This never happened. Today I spoke with a reported supervisor that told me she didnt have or know the **************** address or contact number for Corporate! How are you a supervisor but you cant provide this information. Im looking for resolution as a frequent Saks customer who is very unhappy with *****************Review from Leah M

**** does not refund after returns for over thirty days. They hold onto your money for no reason and, in my opinion, they are doing this to make money off of my money. I will never buy from them again. I wish I had read the reviews.Review from Lois M E

I purchased a $3800.00 designer handbag as a preorder on Sept 14. I recieved it and decided to return, received the mobile code and returned it to ***** on Sept. 30. I recieved an email from Saks on 10/7 confirming receipt of the return. On Oct 21 I called **************** and escalated call to supervisor (***********) who stated a 30 return policy. I placed a second call to **************** on Oct 29 who reiterated the policy. Today is one month since they had the return. I have not received any emails stating my **** would be credited. On Nov 1, I contacted **** to file a dispute which they, after investigation, will honor and I should see the refund on my next billing ******** is disappointing that a company in business for 100 years and which I have purchased from online and at the NY Flagship plus other locations. Needless to say they have lost a customer for good as I can find the merchandise from other storres or directly from manufacturer. I had no idea that they were rated an F and it is obvious that their return policy has nothing to do with being customer focused.Review from Tameka R

I ordered an item online from ************* on 10/24/2024. They are supposed to be a sister company of Saks Fifth Avenue. I used ****** to pay so I know the shipping address given with the order was correct. The item was to be delivered to me via Fed Ex on 11/1. Received an alert from *** Ex on 11/1 that the item could not be delivered as addressed. I spent over an hour that day trying to get Saks to contact *** Ex to correct the shipping address they put on the package. They said they would. I also spent time on the phone with Fed Ex. I made contact with Saks and Fed Ex the next day, too. The item has still not been delivered (11/6) and Fed Ex tracking clearly shows the item never got to me and has been shipped back to Saks by *** Ex. I had to call Saks to ask for a refund since I have received no contact from them even though I was assured during previous contact they would be opening a claim and resolving the matter. When I contacted Saks this last time I was told my request for refund will need to be investigated to determine if a refund will be issued and that their investigation period could take up to 7 days. *** Ex tracking clearly shows the item was not delivered and that it was sent back to Saks by *** Ex. There is nothing to investigate. I am now suspicious about the legitimacy and intentions of this company. **************** is ineffective no matter whether you call or chat with them. I have tried both and it feels like they are just there to buy time and frustrate customer efforts for resolution / refund. I would not trust buying from this company again.Review from Amy S

Saks received my returned items Oct 2, 2024. As of Nov 6, despite multiple attempts to obtain a refund for the returned items, I have not been refunded, despite it passing their 30 day refund policy and filing a dispute with my financial institution. BUYER BEWARE as **** is not refunding customers after accepting their return items.Review from Sheila T

I purchased a *** ***** dress from Saks and had it shipped to my house for a wedding (this was in August 2024) The dress came to my house And as I opened up the packaging the Beautiful Red dress had black streaks all over it from the heavy black Thick wrapping paper they wrapped the designer dress in. I called customer service immediately and returned the dress The same day. It is now November and after contacting Saks daily, I have not received my $300 credit. Saks is broke and farms out their customer service to Mexico or other countries for cheap labor. They are now owned by Hudson Bay which owes its vendors millions of dollars that they have not paid.Saks refuses to give me my money back and I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to warn all people to stop buying Fron Saks.Fifth ave. Saks also has several lawsuits against them for discrimination and I think a civil suit is in order from all of us customers who are getting ******* over.
