Awful customer service and very low-quality shoes. I bought a pair of Sandals from Chanel at ************** while in transit and flying to the U.S.A. I have worn the shoes 5 times 2 times at airports, while standing in line at *********** the leather strap was torn. I called customer service, they asked me to send the pair to them for repair, I did that. They called me to say the shoes cannot be repaired. They told me that " they didn't have a pair like that and would send me a credit which would not be the total amount I paid at the airport. They would deduct the tax amount that I was charged they also told me that I could only use this credit at one of their boutiques, there are none in *********. I disagreed and told them I needed a pair of shoes now. They said they won't be able to assist me any further. I contacted the Chanel website and filled out a complaint form, but I didn't hear from them for 2 weeks. I stayed up until 2 am to be able to call UK customer service and explain everything, I was told to send them an email again and explain everything, I sent them the emails that were exchanged between me and the customer service in the **. I sent a picture of the shoes along with the receipt. I received a reply stating that they had redirected my email to customer service in The U.S. I should wait for them to contact me. This has been going on since the 8th of August. They have my money $1800 and my broken shoes with them. They sold me a pair that has manufacturing faults. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CHANEL, bad quality and bad customer service. I will take this matter to court.Review from Christine C

Not all Chanel boutique is awful.But especially Chanel in ******** in ********* had lot of issues with **** feel like ** cheated on me, Im always collect labels what I purchased but one of the ** forgot to put in it, so I asked him to give me back, he told me he sent to me mail but I never received.so I did make sure my address with him and he said he sent me again. But I never received . I felt like he lied this time.Anyway I had chance to visit the boutique so the manager solved the problem.But another thing I was so upset was I purchased 2 shoes and one earring but they didnt packed as usual, even not tied with ribbons or any camellia on it. I understand 2 shoes was on sale items but I got regular custom Jewelry around $700 but never packed as usual. I never had this kind of services before and any other boutiques.How come they made me feel so upset even i spend lot of money there. Im routinely spend lot of money every month around more than $10.000 .But especially ******** boutique gave me s***** feelings .I can tell the ** name in ******** who had issues with me .He is ************************* not sure whether Chanel have packing regulations but Today their service was awful!!Review from Beverly P

The chanel store in market street, ************* is the worst! I bought 4 makeup items costing me several hundreds. I wasn't sure about it all but the sales associate assured me I could return it. Being a first time customer, I brought back 3 out of the 4 because the first product broke me out in hives. I had receipt, unopened, unused boxes. I even spoke with the manager and customer service and they said there is nothing they can do. Bull! This is how you treat a first time customer. I will never spend another cent on chanel products period. So very dissapointing.Review from Amanda S

I bought a Chanel bag 6/19/22 and wore it once! I decided it was not the bag for me and wanted to return it. The store worker took my bag to a mysterious back room for about 10 mins then returns and says they cant take my bag back because of scratches that werent there before I bought it in! For Chanel to be such a high end and classy store and brand, the way I was treated was absolutely disgusting! I will not stop until someone does something about this!Review from Marta R

I am 40 years old and have been using Chanel fragrances since I am 13. I started wit Chanel n5 in my teens, coco in my 20s, cristalle in my 30s and now in my 40s I fell in love with mademoiselle. I have bought this perfume at ******* and macys. I have noticed it does not last more than 30 min! I thought maybe it was a defect from the first bottle so I bought it again. Same issue. Over $150 and it only lasts for 30 min. Interestingly, I decided to try ************ at a duty free in an international airport and the perfume lasted for two days! What are you selling to American ***** and ******* a stores? I want my money or my perfume backReview from Amy G.

Purchased two eyeshadow palettes as gifts. The box they arrived in had absolutely nothing to protect the fragile items in shipment, so of course they arrived damaged. I called customer service and the lady I spoke with, Patience was very nice. She told me she would email me and I was to respond to her email with photos of the damaged items. She said once they saw the photos they would send replacements. Okay, fine.So I get the email and it instructs me to take photos of about TWENTY different angles of the damaged products. Annoying, but okay. So I took all the requested photos & replied to her email.The next day I have a voicemail from this woman telling me to call her because she has an "update on my return". I'm a busy person so I'm not quite sure why she couldn't just reply to my email with this "update", or yknow, send me the replacements like she promised she would once I sent her the requested photos showing the damage. So two days later I finally get a chance to call and the lady I speak with tells me that they got my email but now they need me to send the DAMAGED items back & once they SEE that the items are tracking, only then will they send me replacements. Oh and it's ***** that they use as a shipping carrier, so it's not like I can just leave the package out for the mail person. Somehow, them sending me over $100 worth of DAMAGED products has now become MY problem. My issue is not that I need to send the products back....it's the fact that I had to send them 20 pictures at every different angle of these products with my packing slip, back of the box, mailing label, etc. in the photos, only to THEN be told I need to mail them back.....why not just tell me to do that in the first place when I called?? Again, these items were GIFTS. Never again will I shop with this company.Review from Maryam A

I Purchased a 3.4 Oz Bleu de channel for $132 with taxs $141.90 this parfum must be watered down, The fragrance only last for 15 minutes. Can't smell after that. Very disappointed with Chanel for watering down products and selling for top dollar. Feel like I got ripped off . Would like full refund.Review from Shadowxx

I purchased a $797.63 (plus tax)necklace for Chanel In **** ***** ****** on May 25 2021 via a **** associate. Around June 30th, I received the necklace by mail. And I found that Chanel sent me a defective necklace ******** was lost and a lot metals are rusted. No one told me about the defects before I paid. After receiving the defective item, I contacted my **** associate immediately. And the associate suggested me send back. I sent back on June 3rd (within 2 weeks). But after receiving, Chanel in **** NY refused to refund, said it was on sale, so no refund. Excuse me? So Chanel could sell defective/ broken Item without mention???? I could not believe it. My **** associate, who help me communicate with Chanel, have no way to negotiate with Chanel. Chanel just took the necklace away and said they will repair it. But one month later, I still have not received any update, I have my **** associate to consult Chanel. You guess what, the Chanel said they forgot about the necklace!!!!!! And they tried their best to find it out. And gave me a repair form.Then you guess what, after 4 month, until November, I still have not received any update. I have my **** associate go to Chanel again. You guess what, there is no anybody in Chanel pay her any attention, no one reply the email. Even the manager in **** sent the email again, no one from Chanel reply. And no one knows anything about the necklace. I cannot believe it. I have to consult Chanel headquarters. And I still received that They could not offer refund even that is Chanels fault, and the repair will take up to one year. My god. One year, I am going to move soon. I cannot believe that is Chanel. Chanel could do business like this?
