Buyers beware I keep getting these little pocket books. They are like appointment books that come from ******* books from ****************************. What I found on the Internet is that TI ink books is time books and is own by Meredith since 2018. I know this because I called their phone number on the letter that I received. At the ***** number (BBB does not allow me to leave a number), they answer as Meredith I have to tell you that these people have been tracking me down on my new address and putting $28 on my credit card every year and sending me a pocketbook that nobody uses is complete useless because everybody obviously uses ****** on ****** Calendar and nobody uses a pocket Organizer these days at all, I sent a letter to them two years ago and they like I said track me down to my new address and send me a book that I dont need. I called and I got a confirmation number from them. They said that they will return back the $28 to my account and theyre canceling any plans that I have I do not remember putting any plans with these people and I do remember that I havent received these two books for the last six years and I sent a letter to cancel them two years ago didnt hear from them last year thank God , and I will tell you there are some people in this world that just need to be burned down. They have no moral and no integrity. They do this to old people. They will track you down to take your money. This is absolutely zero business integrity. I really really regret whenever I applied for a card that was included with them I believe it was **************** so be careful with **************** credit cards and whatever they sell you that attached to it .

My staff was able to locate this customer in our system. ******* ******* ***************************************************************************. ******* started getting the Appointment book set back in 2013. Shes gotten either the appointment book set, diary, or organizer every year. I can see activities back to 2018. The first discontinue I see is from October 25, 2024. We have updated it to discontinued and she has no balance due. The last credit card payment was voided on October 25th. We have taken all promotions off her account. There were advance notices sent in the past before shipments were made on auto renewal. There hasnt been any customer activity or record of her asking for a cancelation. The only customer driven activity is the recent return and discontinuation of shipments this month

This company is absolutely a defilement to companies. They completely disregard your notions to ask them to unsubscribe and stop emailing! I am going to the elite levels in this company and wont stop until they stop harassing my email account. Completely disgusting and highly unprofessional

This company totally ripped me off. I never renewed my subscription with them, yet they took money out of my ****** account without my permission. On June 3, 2024, I took out a magazine subscription with this company in which I paid for in full in the amount of $11.03. After this subscription was up, I never went back to the site to renew the subscription. This company falsely withdrew $114.71 from my ****** account without my authorization to do so. How can a subscription jump from $11.03 to $114.71? In addition to that a subscriber would have to go back on their website to renew the subscription which I did not do at any time. They Stole $114.71 from my ****** account. I am a senior citizen, and I feel violated. No one has the right to go into my account and take money without my authorization I did not ask for another subscription. This is very wrong, and this company is not honest. I am writing this review to warn others about taking out any subscriptions with magazine.com. I would hate to see anyone else go through what I have gone through. I am a 70-year-old woman on a fixed income fighting to hold on to every penny that I have and then this despicable company would do something like this. I am very unhappy with Dotdash Meredith also affiliated with magazines.com. I hope this review will help someone else. Judging from all of the other complaints I see that I am not their only victim.

This People Magazine order was place on our website *************************** order where all orders are entered as "Automatic Renewal" (with you using your ****** account). That is clearly stated in the ordering process. The customer must contact us or turns off the ** prior to the annual renewal (which will be charged to the original payment method). I have asked to have the recent ** of $114.71 which took place on 10/15/24 to be cancelled/refunded.

We have repeatedly tried to email this company to send back a book that was not ordered. No one email back. We have tried to call and were told to email. My mother in law did not order this book, she was tricked and she is being invoiced. I will not let her send a check in to cover it, I want someone to get a hold of me so that we can get this book sent back and I want no more correspondence with this company ever again.

CASE ID: ******** - While printing a recipe, I apparently, and unintentionally, added my printer e-mail address to a daily e-mail subscription. I notified the company back in late October requesting that they remove my printer e-mail address from their e-mail list (I cannot go into my printer and block their number). November 6th, my husband sent them an e-mail; received a response on November 7th, that the change should be resolved in 5-7 days. On November 8th, they asked for him to rate their service. Today is November 24th and I am still receiving DAILY E-MAILS, thru my printer; thus wasting ************** Please make the daily emails/print STOP.**************

I signed up for Southern Living magazine a couple years ago when I received an offer in the mail. I sent in the payment and received my magazines just fine. About 2 months ago I received a letter from them stating that my subscription was about to expire, and if I wanted to renew it, I had to send in a payment. I chose not to renew my subscription. Today I received a letter in the mail from them stating as follows " When you ordered your subscription, we offered you the convenience of being billed later and we believed that you would pay your invoice upon receipt. To date, we have no record of receiving payment from you." There was no phone number to call listed, only a website. I googled the phone number for customer service and was told by the representative that I did not owe anything and the letter was sent because my subscription was going to automatically renew and my debit card was going to be automatically charged. I never signed up for automatic renewal, nor did I ever give permission for my debit card to be charged after the initial subscription. I cancelled immediately! This is extremely deceptive business practice. It was never disclosed that automatic renewal was even an option, let alone that they could sign me up for it themselves. It is also extremely scummy that they send letters accusing people of being delinquent on payments to trick them into renewing.

Thank you for taking time to explain your experience. The offer you received and responded to in August 2021 was a 2 year AutoBill Subscription to Southern Living. This means that two issues prior to Expire we send a notification to let you know that you will receive a series of bills for your next order unless you cancel within a 30 day period. The subsequent notification you received was the initial bill for your next order. If no action is taken, your subscription would automatically expire. I apologize for the confusion this may have caused, as well as, for the misinformation you received via the representative (that your debit card would automatically be billed). It is our intent to be very clear on what actions are needed from the customer. We appreciate your feedback and will review our language to ensure there is no further confusion.

I ordered one book as a gift one time. These people continue to send me books I haven't ordered and attempt to invoice me for them. I have repeatedly returned the items, in an attempt to get the idea across I am not even REMOTELY interested in what they're sending. Don't order a thing from these people as once on their list, always on their list.

I recently went down to his home to take care of bills and paperwork due to his macular degeneration. Upon arrival, I found three packages from *********** containing cookbooks. I thought I had stopped this from being delivered back in 2018 I still have the date and time and the representative from that call and fiasco (he was being sent TWO cookbooks constantly and being charged for both!). The issue is that my 80 year old father is past legally blind due to macular degeneration, he cant even read the cookbooks. Hes on a fixed income. He doesnt open these packages. If he doesnt open the package, he doesnt see the letter. He cant use them because he cant see. He cant afford this. And frankly, my money is better used to pay for things he actually needs and uses, not having to make up shortfalls when hes being billed for unnecessary items like this.I sent everything back during my January visit and I hope that his credit card was credited. But the bottom line is these shipments must stop! He cant afford it, he cant see and I cant go down there to sort his mail and deal with the returns every month! This is literally my elderly and legally blind father throwing money away, and he cant afford that kind of waste. And its creating more clutter. While I did manage to get confirmation in writing by email (finally) that the shipments will stop, I never got confirmation that they'll refund him his money or that they never billed him as I refused all the books and sent all of the books back. This kind of activity on behalf of *********** is despicable. Unless someone affirmatively solicits a product, it should NEVER be sent to them and access to the credit card through a magazine subscription should never be used in manner. It's literally theft and fraud, and financial exploitation when you do it those defined as elderly in law. One day, perhaps consumer law will catch up and make this practice illegal.

I had an email from BBB with a response from the Executive Director of Operations. The request was to reach out directly to this person. However, the comment link doesn't take me anywhere and just notes the comment is unavailable. Not sure how I"m supposed to reach out directly to do whatever I need to do to verify my father is on a do not contact/solicit list.
