I bought very cute leather boots in May 2023 and by the following year, the soles are falling off. They're super comfortable, so I contacted the company, only to get a canned response of their return policy within 30 days, blah-blah-blah, but as a courtesy, a 20% off coupon for another pair. I am doubtful the response even came from an English-speaking person and they seem to not care about customer service. Then I get another email telling me "this ticket is closed" before I could even respond, then another email asking if I was satisfied, but when I tried to reply, "oops, too late, that ticket is also now closed". WHAT THE HECK? *******************, along with very poor workmanship in their product.Review from Arley H

I like and have worn Easy Spirit shoes for man years. The product is very good. However, this time the shoes I ordered online at Easy Spirit didnt fit right and I returned them to exchange for a different size. I never saw a statement saying Id have to pay return mailing charges. They refunded me $50.22 on an online gift card. When I repurchased the same product a size smaller I was charged $85. That means they charged me $39,46 for return mailing.They should not try to hide this from their customers. Next time Ill buy from Amazon which has excellent return policies.Review from Ann Marie W

Easy Spirit refusal to refund shipping charges for defective product.I placed an online order for a pair of Meadow Slip-On sandals from Easy Spirit in size 9.5 M. When I tried them on, the right sandal fit perfectly but the left one was WAY too large. Although the sandal was marked 9.5M, it had to have been mismarked because it was so big on my foot. I called customer service for a total refund and was told to return the sandals in the original packaging with a free return shipping label they emailed me. I followed these directions and sent them back. Then I received an email noting the refund had been completed but the original shipping charge of $9.95 was not refunded. I called customer service again, spoke to 3 different agents and each told me I was supposed to send them pictures of the sandal on my foot, proving that it was too big, in order to get a refund of the shipping charges. I was NEVER told that. Easy Spirit has denied my request for the refund, which is completely ridiculous to me! Very poor customer service all around, especially since the defective shoes were NOT my fault and I was never told to take pictures! Easy Spirit should do the right thing and refund the $9.95 they owe me.Review from Douglas N.

I purchased men's Easy Spirit shoes at a ***** store which has closed down since. Allegedly the shoes are leather but at most it is bonded leather cuz when I put the shoes on and walk the leather cracked up and flaked off in large pieces. I sent pictures to Easy Spirit of the defective shoes plus there logo inside the shoe and on the soles of the shoes because they claim they do not make men's shoes. They said I must return them to ***** but I told them the store closed their doors a while back. They said there's absolutely nothing they can do to help me. Apparently they sell their name to companies to put on shoes but take zero responsibility for inferior products. Amazing how the company can stay in business with such shady practices.Review from Vicky S

I got a physical EasySprit gift card ($60.61) from returning a pair of shoes purchased in a physical EasySpirt store. On the back of this gift card, it says the gift card is redeemable online at easyspirit.com, or at any company-owned Easy Spirit Specialty Retail or Outlet store in the US. Recently I tried to use the gift card online at easyspirit.com, the system showed my gift card info was invalid although I never used this card before. I called EasySpirit customer service, and the agent told me the gift card was issued by their old company and they cannot honor it. Right now, they only have electrical gift card and dont own any EasySprit physical store anymore. To me, this is totally unacceptable. As a consumer, I dont care how the internal structure change within EasySprit. They have to honor the gift card issued under EasySprit. All the terms and conditions listed on the card dont specify the expiration of this gift card. EasySprit has to give me the money back!!!Review from Kraen J

This is totally ridiculouscompany. I sent the shoes back the same day that easy spirit sent them in the mail to me. They were damaged and I still haven't heard anything from anyone. Went on their website and it's impossible to get information or speak with the representative of the company. My name is They were ordered December 6th. Charged on my card. Horrible ***************** Here is my experience: I bought a pair of size 7 wide shoes, got 12 M. They were on clearance, so no return or exchange allowed!! They did give me a one time only refund on a gift card I had to spend on their site. Thought, well maybe it was my error- tried to buy the shoes again; triple checked the size before placing it. Guess what? It now says I ordered 12 M again and will not let me change or cancel the order!!! As for myself, I will never ever buy Easy Spirit again!Horrible ****************** yes, I have contacted them again, but of course no one works on Sunday. They allowed one hour from the time I placed the order last night to change or cancel -but I did not get the email showing the wrong size until this morning!The only response I am getting is an automated email (per the 3 customer service reps I have talked with) telling me to call customer service! The customer service reps are not enabled to do anything except place another escalated ticket! No response from anyone to these tickets or offers to assist in any way!Easy Spirit Response

Easy Spirit shipped me someone elses shoes with someone elses shipping label inside. Emailed customer service 3x with no resolution. Called customer service twice. Say I have to return the erroneous shoes, wait for a credit, then re-purchase the shoes I originally ordered. When I asked to check the availability of the shoes I originally ordered, theyre now out of stock! Plus Easy Spirit closed all their stores so youre really stuck dealing w/ their horrible customer service. Its hard finding wide shoes but I definitely dont recommend Easy Spirit. Terrible company that takes your money without issuing you the product you purchased!Easy Spirit Response

An order can be returned for a gift card, however it never shows when the gift card expires. You can open the gift card and it will show the amount available, but not an expiration date. I couldn't even find a notice anywhere that it would expire. So, the amount available will be there and then one day, without warning or notice, it will all be gone. I have lost over $100 because of this and it's simply wrong. It's money that doesn't even belong to them, because I gave paid them for shoes and returned the shoes, so they just basically took my money and I received nothing in return. I contacted customer service and they are awful. Truly horrible customer service and they refused to do anything about it.Review from Darlene K

This company is one you should never order from! Their website switches back and forth between sizes when you are ordering, when you simply change colors, and they will only cancel a measly one hour after you place the order which is AFTER you notice that the order has the wrong shoe size. They absolutely do not care. Now, due to their poor programming (I was told by the customer rep that ALL shoe websites do the same thing...) I am responsible for sending back the shoes due to their mistake and probably having to cough up a return fee to ship. All the while they have my money.
