First, I took my dog to the vet because of the following laws being violated and affecting domestic and wild animals. Neighbors, including my super, have been pouring harsh chemicals to repel animals. According to these established laws (8) Poisoning or attempting to poison animals N.Y. AGRIC. & MKTS. LAW § 360. (9)Throwing substance injurious to animals in public places N.Y. AGRIC. & MKTS. LAW § 362. These are criminal acts. I reached out to **** and after seeing the vet at **** *** ***, Manhattan, NY 10028, I'm afraid she spoke poorly of me as a pet owner to Mrs. ******** ******* from ****. All I know is that **** ceased communicating with me based on whatever the doctor told her. What the doctor did not know was the why of my losing my pet insurance, suffering a fire, and being forced by my landlords to homelessness. We returned to our home in 2023. I lost my income and this vet dares to speak negatively about me without knowing our story. She also did not care about the effects of pesticides used to harm dogs. She was biased against me because of my race and her staff after being told that **** would pay, detained me, and kept asking me to pay. Which was not only humiliating but an affront given my explaining all the hardship I was facing. I'm disabled. This is why I don't go downtown to see doctors who are not from an ethnic background. It's disgraceful what she did. The visit was on Wed, Jul 31, 2024 at 12:00 PM done by Dr. ******** ******* at Bond Vet - Upper East Side at 86th Street located at **** 3rd Avenue New York, NY 10028 US. I had to tell them three times that **** was going to pay and this was confirmed before the visit by ****. IT WAS HUMILIATING, to exclaim the least. They do not deserve one star. It's awful how I was treated and that all they cared about was doing tests that cost 1800.00. None of it was to test for toxins harming my dogs causing seizure-like symptoms. Disgraceful. Her biases over my dog's needs.

When your pet is sick, you want to give them the best care possible. You want to feel comfortable where you are taking them and feel that your pet is comfortable too. I will never bring my pet to bondvet again. The receptionist was rude and aggressive when we walked in with our cat who had just had a seizure. I was advised by the dr in the initial visit to come back to get xrays which I did. I dropped my cat off at 8:30 a.m. and was told she would be done by 3:30-4. At 4:00, I recieved a message saying they hadn't even started on her yet. As I was on my way home from work, I stopped in and waited for her. During the time I waited, the team at the location i went to was very unprofessional and made me quite uncomfortable. The receptionist and nurses were clearly gossiping and making fun of people. Finally they brought my pet out and gave me no information regarding what happened during the xrays and what the results were, telling me someone would be in touch. Then the nurse who brought my cat out stood awkwardly behind the receptionist watching her take my payment which I found to be incredibly inappropriate. When i brought my cat home that night, she was under heavy sedation but she was incredibly jumpy and seemed anxious which is not like her at all. She is usually very calm and trusting. A few days later I was called by a doctor at this office to talk about my pets results. I missed the initially call do I had to call in which I did less than 5 minutes after the initial missed call. Whoever answered the phone was rude and aggressive. I initially wanted to give this company and office the benefit of the doubt but after my experience of being alienated, made to feel uncomfortable and upset i have a terrible taste in my mouth. I will never bring my ******** and will advise against friends and family going to bondvet as well.

My cat spent all day in chronic pain waiting for help. We emailed at 8 am. At 1 pm they said a vet would call eventually. At closing I called and they said a manager would call me Monday only to discuss animal control. Weve heard different versions of what happened. Bond Vet has claimed that they reported it to the state or the tech reported to the ** and the hospital called Animal Control. They should at least get their story straight. They also falsely told animal control that the owner of the cat was bit which never happened. We could have gone somewhere else and gotten treatment, but they lied and told us if we waited they would help him.I get to watch my best friend continue to suffer. They sent my vet records and closed my account. the vet called him damaged goods during the examination because he has birth defects.Hes sick and we told them not to handle him. He allegedly bit a staff member and they reported him to animal control as a dangerous, rabid animal. Hes sick and strictly indoors due to birth defects. hes current on his vaccinations, including rabies. **** didnt check his file and instead called animal control in another state, who is now trying to take my cat. no one checked his records. No one checked if the staff member was injured or was making a false report which it she is. The tech who was allegedly bit was a student (she had to be stopped by the vet when administering an injection because she didnt understand that its dangerous to have air bubbles in the syringe) and its not ok that she filed these claims without a supervisor. I was in the room the entire exam and not only did we tell her not to put her hands near his mouth, I never saw her get bit. In some reports, its a bite others its a scratch. we were told that someone called **** and they gave out my information. This cost me $1,000 and now I get to spend 10 days fighting with animal control. If they gets their way, my cat is going to die in custody or be euthanized.

They are very inappropriate to use very inexperienced young vets who make serious mistakes at the sake of the lives of our pets. My cat had fluid in her lungs which could have been drained for relief until a diagnosis is made. Instead, she was given sedation which made her much sicker and I felt very pressured to have her euthanized. I also told the young *** that she was breathing ok at home but she was anxious being out of her home and appeared worse. They charged me $1025 for one CXR with bad sedation that made her much sicker. To charge such high amount and not allow the owner to comfortably take her back home is not just.
