*** up with Zola! Im a vendor using their site. They continue to change their prices for credits leaving you stuck with wasted credits that you cant use to reach out to clients. I have **************************** $10 that I can never use bc they decided to change it to 12 credits to respond to a couple. It seems every other week they change their pricing scheme. I could see a slight increase maybe once each new year, but their pricing changes multiple times within a short period. Its not consistent its just what they feel at the moment. It has been this way from the beginning and its getting more and more expensive each month with them. The amount of credits change to respond or the price to buy credits change leaving you in a bind and making it look bad to the couple youre trying to connect with. Its a pricing scam. I dont trust this site anymore. Im ready to cancel my account.Review from Julia W

What a disgrace of a company. A wedding guest made a purchase from our registry. AFTER they made the purchase or after they paid for the item and the "shipping" the item was listed "out of stock and won't be shipped at this time". Even the option to convert it to Zola credit is a scam because now the money that was supposed to be used for shipping is supposed to go to a credit.Review from Brandon W

DO NOT USE ZOLA FOR YOUR WEDDING REGISTRY. So far I have only received one of the items on my registry that my guests paid for. My wedding was May 18th, 2024. Multiple items were "unavailable" or were "ready to ship" but never shipped. They also refuse to give you a cash refund if something goes wrong with the item purchased. They will only give you "Zola credit" which, you guessed it, can only be used on their site for other goods. This might be tolerable if they had a half-decent customer support model but they don't. They purposefully make talking to someone at their company impossible. You can only email them and they don't get back to you for hours, sometimes days. I am now in week 2 of battling for a refund on a $200 Chef's knife. It's been in "Label created" stage (according to **** since May and I've tried to cancel it for a refund twice now and they claim they can't do anything. It's gotten to the point where I feel my only option is to file a claim in small claims court. Over a chef's knife. It may just be negligence, but for such a well-known company it has to be predatory. 1.06 star rating on the BBB says everything. Use literally anybody else for your wedding registry.Review from Macaon D

I wish I had done my self research on this site before purchasing any product! I ordered a Sephora gift card digital for my wife who urgently needed it and to my surprise it's been 72hrs without receiving the product while money has been deducted from my card this is absolutely unfairReview from Julie J

We signed up as a vendor on their website and were on the site for just 6 weeks when they removed our profile pending and internal investigation. lol Do not sign up with this company as they can, apparently, remove you without warning. We do nothing wrong. We are a women owned business.Review from M.C. (Mette Christine) N

Zola.com is in direct violation of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and in violation of their own privacy policy transferring my data from one bride to another. They gave my personal information to a "bride and groom" in violation of their own privacy policy after I reported the potential scam text I received. How the violation transpired * Received solicitation from unknown ******** phone number to enter my data on Zola.com * No bride or groom last name in possible scam text so I informed Zola.com customer service.* Simultaneously I searched and ************* were not listed publicly on Zola.com * I confimed with Zola that the ******** Telephone number was unrecognized as theirs.* I never entered my data, but knew Zola.com had my information from another bride.* Zola.com acknowledge my data but refused to remove my data on their site * I sent them a copy of their privacy policy reminding them of their obligation * THEN Zola.com then wrote the scam "bride and groom" with my information!DO NOT GIVE YOUR DATA TO THIS UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY.Review from Miss S

I recently used Zola's vendor platform as a means to advertise my business. Since then, I have received zero support and when I needed to speak to them regarding my issue and request that my account be deleted/removed, they completely ignored my requests. There is no phone support offered whatsoever for vendors, only engaged couples and event they have a difficult time getting anyone on the phone. The only recourse is an email address which no one will ever respond to. Aside from the complete lack of vendor support, you have no control over customer reviews. You cannot respond to them nor report them for any reason. You can only send an email that will not be responded to. Additionally, you must pay money to respond to any inquiries that you might receive. This site is a scam and takes advantage of business owners for their own personal gain. STAY AWAY.Review from Jim W

Currently Zola is holding our honeymoon fund hostage. They required ID in my wife's old name to retrieve the funds but she had already turned in her ID to the state. She has tried using her old pistol permit and that was denied, She has since used her state issued temporary ID/Drivers license which the State prints on paper and that was denied even though it is current and up to date and legally considered ID. We have called and requested a call back that hasn't come. I have reached out over multiple social media sites and keep getting told it's getting looked at just for things to get denied again. At this point Zola is holding our wedding funds gifted by friends and family hostage and we believe it is to continue to gain interest on the funds or to ultimately not pay it out in the hopes we go away and let them keep it. I am not sure why a company whose whole business is based on weddings has such a hard time with name changes when it's a common thing after a wedding and the only explanation is that its done on purpose to make this process difficult or to not have to pay out fundsReview from Katie T

Zola has made my wedding planning unpleasant and challenging. To start, they repeatedly sent ordered invitations in the wrong color then claimed that it was a "printing error." They never did match the colors on the Save the Dates. Zola also makes use of their website very kludgy. Registry: When guests were trying to order items for my wedding shower, several items were marked as "discontinued" when they weren't; guests reported not being able to buy items because they were marked by Zola as "on hold" after someone looked at them (didn't put them in their carts, didn't save them); one item couldn't be listed as purchased and therefore it looked like it wasn't purchased; for my charity donations, Zola makes certain charities impossible to directly donate to, then sends a message to the recipient suggesting that the money given to the couple can be donated to Zola credit (which, I think, is illegal. You can't take money that has been donated with the intention of supporting a charity and then repurpose it).RSVP: Two guests reported having RSVP'd but Zola didn't recognize their responses. These are two people who work in tech so it's highly unlikely this was their error. There is so much more I could say but this should be enough for any engaged couple to stay away. There are other options that are so significantly better.Review from Joann B

I ordered some wedding gifts through Zola. My order included two Le Creuset dishes and a Lodge skillet. The Le Creuset items were in brown cardboard boxes. Not the nice manufacturer's boxes that you get when you buy Le Creuset from the store. The Lodge skillet came in a box that looked like it had been sliding around on the floor of the delivery truck. It was pretty dinged up. No problem I thought, until I discovered that there wasn't an inner box for the skillet, only some craft paper. So I took a picture of the skillet box and sent it to Zola. After a week of deliberation and "consults with team members", I was told that Zola would not do anything because they don't furnish gift boxes. At no point had I requested a gift box.I would think that a wedding website that sold wedding gifts would send gifts that were in manufacturer's boxes that could be wrapped as is. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Zola to anyone. The one star is because they appear to be willing to refund my money once I send them the merchandise.
