Overcharged for parts used to install fireplace I’ve requested 3 times in writing & once verbally for a break down listing of materials I was charged $274.35 for- Refuses to give- Did give a listing of materials for another job I’m asking for a list of materials used and priceBusiness response

BBB spoke to Gary at the business and the following was relayed: We did a fireplace install for a fireplace she purchased, along with boiler maintenance. I accidentally overcharged the customer for 1 hour, which I reimbursed her with a check for plus the tax for that hour. The job was agreed to as time and materials, which is what the customer was charged. We do not breakdown every part and piece.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I’m again requesting an itemized list for materials I was charged for- it obviously is his practice to provide a list, as he did for the furnace job he performed at the same time- there is no reason not to supply the list if I was not overcharged- my next step is small claims court.
