      On March 23, 2023, I took my car (2013 GMC Terrain) to Arlington Auto and Tire for an oil change. I also would to check why my car was overheating at speeds of about 40mph. We received a call from **** saying that the overheating had something to do with the valve cover gasket and that he also noticed the timing belt was loose. I found it strange because these were things that I had done before even going into the Auto and Tire shop. I told him that I did not want these items replaced and I told him no. When I went to pick up the car on March 24, 2023, the total amount that they were telling me I owed was $2,218.12. When the car was turned on my car was shaking so I was not able to move my car. They told me that a timing belt was about $1,900.00. I told them the only services that I asked for were the oil change and to check why the car was overheating and that I would not pay for services that I did not ask for. Now they are holding my car and charging me a $ 70.00-day storage fee. I did not give them written and verbal permission to do any other work than what I have stated above.

      Had them put a motor in my car and having more issues with the motor they replace and didn't replace motor mounts and transmission mounts the motor vibrates it ticks, squeals, hums and is worse than the old motor that was originally in the car I also had them replace all four tires within two thousand miles I had to replace the rear tires and they would not warranty them out they were also trying to put the blame on the company that did my front suspension and when I brought it back to the company that did the front suspension they told me there is nothing wrong with it so they were also trying to scam me on replacing parts that were just replaced I spent over $6,000 for a motor that should have took one week to do and it took them 3 weeks they kept lying to me telling me that they were waiting on parts waiting on a welder when they had none of the above they rushed me in to get the car and the car set for 3 weeks while I went every week and asked what was going on with the car and they just kept running me around in circles I originally started talking to a manager called *** and then I had to get the executive VP manager moose and still having issues charging me for parts that should have been replaced when they replace the motor the car is under my name as ********************* for all the payments are under my fiance's name *****************************

      I went here to get an oil change I told them I wanted full synthetic 30. They did the oil change and my receipt shows full synthetic 20. I said some thing immediately and the manager came out and very nastily told me that they put the 30 oil but the receipt is wrong. I told her I didnt believe what she was saying because it makes no sense that they would put the wrong thing on the receipt and the receipt is the only thing I have to go on. The manager rudely told me she could print a new receipt. Meanwhile I believe I have the wrong oil in my car and they are doing nothing to rectify that.

We did hear you ask specifically for the 30 oil when you were checked in and our tech remembers you asking for this. The person whom you spoke to appears correct that the employee who checked you in either clicked the wrong check box or let it default, we have verified that in fact the software company knows about this and is working on a solution, however rest assured it is just ink on a piece of paper, the tech knew exactly what you wanted and he also saw the screen says 30 just like you said. He says he put in the oil you asked for, however lets just relieve your concerns and we can show you the 30 type oil you wanted going in. As for the price they were correct, it is $89 for the ********************** Change up to 5qts (additional quarts are billed extra) plus tax. The employee gave you a coupon. We hope this offer of another $89 full synthetic oil change for free helps.
