They harassed and embarrassed my girlfriend when she tried to get a new tattoo on her arm, she paid 300 dollars, they kicked her out when she asked for a better design, the owner insulted her and refused to give her money back even though the tattoo was unfinished. They left her arm susceptible to infection and they didnt give her aftercare for the infection. They just left the tattoo incomplete. The owner also had the staff and customers record her, humiliating her, now shes dramatically depressed. I just want something done, an investigation should be conducted.Business response

To Whom it May ********************** myself ******************* along with *********************** are co-owners of Vibes Ink Tattoos. I have been a tattoo artist for over 25 years. As a shop owner I want the best tattoos to come out of my studio. So any artist that we hire I mentor, to ensure we are all working on the same quality level. During the time ******************** was getting tattooed my artist ****** came to me to ask for assistance with her client. ******************** was moving erratically during her tattoo while venting about her current living situation with her mother. ****** asked me to step in because after numerous attempts at explaining to her how important it is that you do not move while you are getting tattooed, ******************** did not stop. In trying to diffuse the situation since ******************** was slightly irrational we started talking about tattoos. I mentioned to ****** that this might be her best color mixing ombre work thus far ( as a compliment to my artist) and ******************** exploded with anger. She started to insult me along with my artist, and it quickly escalated to using racial slurs. Every single employee at Vibes Ink Tattoo is of mixed race/ethnicity. As soon as she started using the word *******" I asked her to leave. ************************ response was to ask for her money back. We explained to her that we have a no refund policy like all tattoo studios. We explained that she cant return the ink we used on her, the equipment and time for the artist drawing all three of her designs which she only ended up getting one done. Normally we charge a deposit for a drawing consultation, we waived that for ********************. Against our own policy and after her behaviour we still gave her a refund for the unfinished work not done. ******************** DID NOT pay $300 for her tattoo, she paid $280.00. The tattoo was about 70 percent completed, so we refunded her $80.00, as you can see on the attached digital receipt we sent. Again we do have a no refund policy, so after all the verbal abuse we still tried to diffuse an escalating situation. We also will enclose a picture of the work that was done. When asked to leave our premises, ******************** refused and sat down in our lobby while continually calling us all racist slurs. We had to call the police for assistance. Besides verbally abusing all our employees, she also started to shout physical threats. She threatened that " We will get what's coming to us" She threatened to cause bodily harm. I did not feel like it was safe for myself or any of my employees to clean up her tattoo at that point or go anywhere near ********************. When th epolice arrived ******************** changed her demeanor immediately and started crying. We felt it was unsafe to approach ******************** in any manner, so we gave her receipt of the refund to the police officer to hand to her. Our local authorities, *************************** also helped us fill out a trespassing order against her. She is never allowed to return to our premises. We will not tolerate disrespect, discriminatory and racist comments in our work place. I will also attach a copy of the trespassing order.
Since this, ******************* and her boyfriend have been harassing us through our social media and ****** accounts. On ****** she leaves false accusations, under fake accounts that we have contacted ****** about, as well as our lawyer. Her boyfriend contacted our instagram page and threatened us, I will include a screenshot. ******************* and ***************************** have also called us and threatened to blow up our shop, and said she will come there to deliver what's coming to us. We had to call the Police again due to her violent threats. My artists no longer feel safe leaving at night because of ************************ erratic behaviour. The person who filed this complaint is *******************, who has never been a customer of ours. New State regulations require us to have every single person fill out a consent form and ******************* has NEVER been in our studio.
As you will see and the attached pictures the same person that submitted this complaint made a totally different review on ******.
I truly apologize that it has even come to this, but as a business owner I have the responsibility and the right to protect my employees.
If there is any other information you may need please feel free to contact us.
Thank you,
**** & ***********************
