AFTER WE HAD FLOODING IN OUR HOME, OUR INSURANCE COMPANY ALLOWED US TO STAY IN THE ALSTON APARTMENTS. THIS WAS IN MAY. IT WAS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE UNTIL WE LEFT, AND THEY STATED THAT WE SMOKED IN THE APARTMENT WHEN WE DON'T EVEN SMOKE. THEY CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD OVER $500. I TRIED WRITING TO THE MANAGER *************************. HE WROTE ME BACK STATING HE WAS GOING TO LOOK INTO THIS, HE NEVER WROTE ME BACK. THIS WAS IN OCTOBER.Customer response

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Alston regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
How was there a smoke odor, if we do not smoke at all? That does not make sense. I will not take credit for something that we do not do. We are the people that go to the No Smoking section and complain because people are smoking, when they are not supposed to. I do not like that we are being accused of smoking, when we do not smoke. We should not have received that fee, and we want it removed.
