I would like to know how to go about fixing my ongoing issue with my 2018 *** **** VIN#*****************. Not only do I pay $649.00 monthly for my truck, I also pay $154.00 monthly for an extended warranty. Since the end of summer of 2023, my truck has been in and out of the shop at Upstate Auto in Saranac Lake, NY, where the truck was originally purchased (8/30/23, 9/12/23, 9/27/23, 10/11/23). I have had several different issues all in relation to the transmission and because of these issues just in 2023 alone there were 2-3 months that my truck was not able to be driven due to part back orders or lack of mechanics. My truck has still continually had transmission issues and as of 5/20/24 the transmission is completely blown. This incident left me stranded on the side of the road and I had to have my truck towed to Saranac Lake from Chateaugay, this is about an hour drive. My truck has sat at Upstate Auto since. They informed me that my warranty covers a rebuilt transmission, which I already believe to be wrong, however they’ve informed me that the parts for this transmission will be on back order for at least 2 months. This is completely unacceptable, I will be without my truck for a totally of roughly 5 months between 2023 and 2024 with the ongoing issues but still have to make my truck payment with no truck to actually drive. This is also unacceptable due to the fact that I own a business and my truck is crucial to a lot of the transportation required in my daily business tasks. I am unable to trade my truck in because I was told that doing this will void my warranty. I have called the warranty company to try and address this issue and was treated very poorly and laughed at by the man who took the call. The case number I was given is 90324400. This is no way for a business or a warranty company to treat a costumer that has been loyal to *****. I am just looking for any way to resolve this issue and have yet to receive a solution.
