Let us start at the beginning.. 10 months ago, I financed a vehicle through this "dealership", and was reassured that the vehicle was well maintained and had just been surrendered as a trade in.. all goes fine with paperwork and such. First problem, tires have almost no tread on them when I get home to look at the car off their lot. I then see that upon my first off-site oil change, the entire bottom side of the car is rusted beyond belief. ******** has to handle a few recalls a few months later, and I'm told by THEIR CERTIFIED ***** TECH that my fuel line is rusted, hence the reason I run through gas within a day or so. Plus the other 2K in work that has to be done on the vehicle that Mohawk Auto Center so nicely neglected to do.. I call them, as I've only had the car for 3 months at this point. They tell me to bring it in and they'll fix it. They then tell me that ***** is just trying to get money out of me, they weld one piece of the car's underside back together, and then they send me on my way. 3 days later, my car begins a downward spiral of stalling while I'm driving, quite literally. I break down several times over the next few weeks, once while I'm in the FAST LANE on the highway. The car literally won't exceed 20 mph. I ask the service department more than once to fix it, and they tell me they don't have any appointments, it'll have to wait, etc. So I finally leave the car with them at Christmas time, and tell them that my 10 month old child was almost crushed because the car stopped running on the highway while we are in the car, and a tractor trailer has to swerve as to miss the back of my car. They then tell me that I've caused all this damage, and my head gasket is busted, along with several other things that ***** had already said needed to be addressed, but remember that Mohawk told me they didn't? I then get sick with covid, and cannot come in to deal with any of this for about 10 days or so.

Went in for a scheduled maintenance on a vehicle and ended up making a payment because Mohawk auto center has an online payment option. I have done Mohawk auto center through ***** bank and it somehow is linked to *** **** ******* I went in for service and was advised I was late on a payment and advised that I had made the payment, I tried to provide proof yet once again Corrine didn’t allow the employee at the window to finish with me she immediately cut me off as she always does, she began to argue with me and became very undone as she has before, I feel like she has a problem with people of color as every encounter with her has been a nasty unprofessional experience, Then she calls me an ******* in the office in front of her staff I responded in kind with a few choice words. I made the payment called my bank to stop the pending payment to the company linked to them and sadly received a letter stating I am not allowed on the premises or trespassing charges will be filed, mind you I’ve never even gotten a chance to speak with anyone from the company also being threatened to not be allowed to make payments over the phone. There is no number for me to speak to anyone outside of that office to complain or file a grievance against this seemingly racist employee who always finds a way to personally attack me. This business has been serving a diverse population for the longest that has kept it in business for sure and to allow a customer who has purchased more than one vehicle from your company to be treated this way without even being spoken too. I’m alarmed they threaten customers with trespassing charges after the verbal assault began with the office manager Corrine. They have cameras not sure if the owner is family or even aware however I will not be disrespected by a classless employee that has zero people skills then be threatened with police contact. this woman is dangerous and a nasty representation of this company. Buyers beware she is the problem at state st.

Sadly, but not unexpectedly, Mr. *****'s explanation of events neglect to mention his rude, disrespectful, and accusatory behavior to the office staff attempting to assist him in figuring out why his payment was past due. Additionally, Mr. ***** fails to mention that he has had repeated run ins with office personnel in regard to his lack of understanding and comprehension of how automatic payments work when done "in house" versus through an outside payment company. He has been repeatedly advised that his behavior would not be tolerated. In fact, this was "Corrine's" first (and only) interaction with Mr. *****, and while her use of an inappropriate word was lacking professionalism, all repeated attempts to rectify the payment issue were met with Mr. *****'s predictably bad behavior. The only DANGER in this situation is that a professional employee being attacked in her workplace would be so maligned by someone who has behavioral, anger and social issues on every occasion he deals with any female office staff. Perhaps sexism and misogyny are the issues. We strive to provide a safe work environment for our employees and to interact with many diverse individuals all day everyday in a two-way respectful and courteous manner. We will not allow abusive behavior regardless of who the perpetrator is.
