On 2-24-24 I purchased a 2019 ***** ***** with 72,630 miles for $19,995 I traded in a car which 2,000 trade In and 3,000 down payment cash . the day I picked it up I had problems with it shaking in the front end . It needed wheel bearings and struts . The car was misfiring and is still misfiring. The car needed spark plus and coil packs . The ax unit had a leak which caused the ac not to work . The shop told me due to Covid it was hard to get any parts . All four rims are bent and I was made aware by shop that that’s what the extended warranty was for . My check engine light came on which ended up being Evap vent valve stuck open . On several different occasions I’ve had to had to replace fog lights and tail lights that keep blowing due to electrical issues . The shop then cut all the wires which lead to the tail lights just to find a short . Which will lead to more issues in the furnace of faulty lights . The car still has front end issues that cause it to shake . I have reached out t the shop on several different attempts during the dealer warranty and I was told the extended warranty is what would fix all the problems that is accruing . Took the car to ***** dealer ship and they stated that the dealer who sold me the vehicle knew the car was misfiring before i purchased the car according to the vehicles computer . When I go into the shop they tell me it’s the driver not the car . I have several text messages from the salesman who sold me the car that he was told to stay out of the business . I also have a video recording of the Gm mark who stated all the time the parts would be ordered and yet heard anything from them . Here it is now my car won’t go over 18 miles per hour with out it misfiring . I was sold a warranty that would not be reliable for the stated parts above which the shop told me would cover . and I was just giving the run around about a car I took out a loan for traded in a vehicle and a down payment to not have a road worthy car .Business response

Vehicle was purchased 2/24/2023 not in 2024. We have not seen the vehicle since May of 2023. 15 months ago. Since purchase the vehicle has been driven over 30,000 miles. If vehicle is in need of a repair the cost would be the responsibility of the customer or extended service contract if it is not expired due to mileageCustomer response

I have had several issues with the used car I bought for over $9000 and he has told me he can’t figure out the issue when he is the one who sold it to me. I’ve had the car to the shop six times since I got it in three months and have encountered nothing but problems with this vehicle, he is the worst salesman and sold me a lemon. I would like something done about this or at least bad rating on his dealership This is been the worst transaction I’ve ever had with the dealer who continues to refuse to fix my issues tells me they’re fixed and then I have the same issues plus more issues with a week later and he also tells me he’s not just going to throw parts at it meaning he doesn’t wanna fix it I also have numerous people stating that my car is had numerous issues within the past three months of buying it I’d like to be exchange for a different car or have it repairedBusiness response

At the end of July 2021 I purchased a 2013 *** ** from Best Buy auto sales in newark ny. Upon test driving I noticed a shake in the rear at about 45 mph that is very noticeable. I talked to the shop about buying it and they said all would be fixed. Along with the vehicle I purchased the 3year/36000 mile warrenty. It’s been 20,000 miles and a year and a half and my car has sat at shops more than I’ve drivin it. Best Buy tried to repair an axel boot when they were trying to solve the shake issue, which exploded down the line. Then they replaced the axel with a used part and didn’t install the dust cover so now the “new” axel is leaking. They said my rear diff was the cause of the shake, so they used my warrenty to install a junkyard differential that made zero difference to the problem but is in fact a bad diff, because now upon deceleration the whore rear end is humming like a school bus. So now I’m out of the matching rear end for my vehicle. They did a oil pan gasket and now there is a loud popping noise in my front suspension when you apply the brake when backing out of a spot. So I went to ask the sales manager to speak with a manager, he denied me and said there was no one to call. So now I’m at the dealership(still unable to drive my car) waiting for best buy to tell them if they will cover all the costs of the bad parts they put in my car and messed up, and the original issues that the car should have never been able to leave the floor with. When I worked at one of the shops in town a majority of our customers were cars from this place. This place does not care about your vehicle after you buy it. I have texts from them trying to always put junkyard parts in peoples cars. I have a friend who worked with these guys that just sally around and beat on these cars and complained about the customers. These guys do not care about the vehicle you purchased or your family. It’s honestly disturbing how many people have bought bad cars and have been quiet. Please helpBusiness response

I have been in and out of this shop multiple times to access the original few issues. What the problem is is that this shop keeps guessing at what the issues is, throwing parts into the car that don’t need to be replaced, and are running my warranty renty dry for issues that the car should not have been sold with. This shop told me to go to the dealer, which I did, and my car sat there for a month while Best Buy didn’t care to contact them to pay for the issues. *** said my warranty would cover the diff and labor, and I would pay shop taxes fees and supplies. But they could not warranty nty the bad axel Best Buy had just installed a few months prior, or all the other issues. *** told me I would have 300$ left on my “36 month/3 year warranty” so now my warranty is out of money somehow for a diff that this shop installed when it never needed to be. Which is what they are constantly doing to my vehicle and making it unsafe and unusable to me for the past year and a half. This shop told me to take it to *** and they would handle the costs then ignored *** when they got the quorum. I want my vehicle fixed. Not asking these guys to do something crazy I want them to do their job. But it’s clear they cannot do so and my life and my vehicle is taking the toll from it.Business response

I bought a 2012 Dodge ******* *** model from Best Buy Auto Sales in Waterloo NY in October 2021. Shortly after getting it from them the check engine light came on. They fixed an issue on it which was supposed to have the light then turn off. I also paid out of my pocket to fix an issue to hopefully get the check engine light off. The check engine light still comes on. I got a loan out for this vehicle which I am still paying on. The car now is going to need about a $1500 repair. I do not understand how they can get away with selling cars that are no good. They should have been aware of this issue. I also caught them in a lie. They told me they turned the check engine light off before giving me the vehicle. However, at one point when I took the car to them they told me the check engine light was not on before they gave me the car. Please help me!!Business response
