I purchased this car around the middle of January. They had to fix some body work on the car so they had it for a week after purchase. I picked up the car and noticed on the drive home the car gave a warning about low antifreeze and the next day I noticed a leak in the front part of the car on the floor the next day. I look at the level of the transformation fluid and it was almost nothing in it so I couldn't even drive the car until I purchased a special kinda antifreeze from the rangerover dealership. Then I had to take the car back to the dealership I purchased it from to get fixed. They had it for about a week. Then that same leak happened again even though I was told it was fixed so I took the car to another place to get checked and they said it was a broken radiator. Island auto said it was just a bad holes and it was replaced but that wasn't the only issue. I took it back to them again to fix the problem and they said it was fixed again I said I'm not gonna pick it up until they change the radiator because that's the issue so they checked it again and said yeah its a bad radiator and they changed it they also broke the cover after changing it. That's 2 problems as soon as I purchased the car broken radiator and bad holes for the transmission fluid and it was no mention of the damage when I purchased the car. Now I have a oil leak and I didn't even drive the car over 500 miles yet and had the car about a month. This is the third issue now. Did that company violate the contract by selling me a car with issues that weren't mentioned when I purchased the vehicle? I wanted to return the car after the first two issues that same month of purchase because they never told me about the problems the car had when I purchased it. Now to fix these issues I have to pay out of pocket. The dealership doesn't wanna help at all they are kinda rude now saying the 30 days are up im on my own. I have videos and pictures of all the issues. I would like to return the car if possible.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[Your Answer Here]
I sent pictures of the first problem which was with the radiator now it's two other leaks which I sent pictures of as well. This is the third or you could say forth issue with the truck. I haven't even drove this car over 500 miles yet and it's the fourth issue with it. I had to drive 50 minutes back and forth twice to get the truck fixed and that was within the first two weeks of having the truck. It was mileage put on the truck driving there the few times and the dealership driving it to their repair shop. I sent pictures of the new issues and thats the pictures of the oil leaking in two different places under the truck. Why am I having so many issues and I just purchased the vehicle. I have to pay out of pocket for the warranty. I spent a lot on this vehicle and I shouldn't have these many issues with it and haven't even drove it much at all. This car has more miles on it just from going back and forth to the dealership to get fixed and the dealership driving it to their repair location. How could I be sold a vehicle with issues and no one said anything about the issues. I was also told the vehicle was inspected and checked but it obviously wasn't being it had a leak the first day of taking it off the dealership lot. I feel the dealership should be responsible up to a certain amount of miles on the car. I had this truck about a month after all the back and forth with the repairs and I didn't even put a **** miles on the car counting the mileage I drove and the dealership drove after purchase. It has to be some kinda law to protect people from being sold a car with existing issues. It was no leak until after the dealership changed the radiator. I'm not sure if it was damaged during the radiator replacement but either way the truck has a bunch of oil leaking. The dealership obviously don't have good people checking the vehicles because how could this truck pass inspection with a broken leaking radiator and a bad antifreeze holes that leaks. That's another issue how did the dealership get it to pass inspection with two different problems and the leaking was on the floor it was obvious leaking. I'm not happy with this vehicle at all and I don't wanna keep it being it keeps having issues. If need be ill have my lawyer look into what I can do. I'm pretty sure it's a breach of contract if I was sold a vehicle with existing issues I was never told about because from my understanding the vehicle was checked and had no issues but the first day I drove off the lot it had two different things wrong with the truck. I don't wanna keep this vehicle. I was lied to and sold a vehicle that had issues with it that wasn't disclosed. I would've never purchased this vehicle if I knew it had existing problems. After finding out I was sold a vehicle that had problems I didn't want it anymore but they wouldn't let me return it within that same week of purchase I actually was only on my third day of having the vehicle and they wouldn't let me return it. Why couldn't I return a vehicle I only had for a day or two being it had problems the first day off the lot? I was sold a bad vehicle and I'm not happy with the dealerships response. This truck might has some real serious problems its being checked now. The oil and antifreeze have a lot to do with the engine and transmission I don't know what kinda issues are gonna come later plus this extended warranty makes me pay a lot out of pocket because they only cover a certain amount. This repair is gonna cost me money on top of having a warranty. This dealership has a lot of bad reviews and now I see why. I should've knew to go elsewhere because they even changed the price to more money when I went there it was listed much cheaper that was a red flag to begin with.

The dealership isn't helping out what so ever. I'm not happy with their reply. The dealership still hasn't said how long and how many miles are they responsible for the vehicle. This truck had issues as soon as I drove off the lot and has had problems ever since. I'm not happy with the dealerships response I'm not happy with this truck. This dealership violated the contract by selling me a damaged vehicle and I'm on the forth problem since I had the vehicle and its only been a month. I'm pretty sure it's a law against what this dealership is doing. Some dealership give 90 days or 3 thousand miles. This dealership is saying they are only responsible for 30 days and that's not right at all. Bad enough the dealership even lied about the mileage they put on the paper work. I drove to the dealership for repairs more than I drove in my personal life. It's been a little over 30 days since I had the vehicle and I haven't even put a ***** miles on the car including driving back and forth to the dealership. I don't want this vehicle I been made that clear from the first two issues and whoever is messaging back to me from this dealership obviously isn't fully informed about the situation because I been there more than once. This dealership is very unprofessional. Lies on the contract about the vehicles condition and the mileage. I want to return this problematic vehicle. It has to many issues for a vehicle that cost over $30,000 and I haven't even had it 2 months and didn't drive it over ***** miles.

Every month since I purchased this vehicle it has been at the dealer for repairs. Vehicle was purchased on December 24, 2021, at the time of purchase I spoke with *** (salesman who sold me vehicle) about complaints of the trucks transmission, engine, radio, starter, and alternator. As of this date, no issues have been repaired. Truck is currently at the auto shop for 3 months being repaired for the same issues reported at the time of purchase. On 11-18-2022, I recently complained to *** of Island Auto sales (car Salesman) via the phone and he advised me that he "sold me a lemon". I also contacted the warranty company (Veterans auto warranty ***** and they stated that vehicle repairs are not covered and I will be financially responsible for all major repairs.I will like a full refund for the truck and warranty purchase (Out of 11 months of payments, 5 times out of 11 the vehicle was inaccessible due to it constantly being repaired). I will like to stop payments on the truck note without it effecting my credit score.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2014 town and country that had an motor oil leak they promised in writing on my receipt to fix. I left the car with them and was told it was the transmission cooler lines that were the cause of the leak. 2 weeks later it started leaking again so I gave back again they said it would fixed everyday for 6 days. There mechanic told me it was the oil filter housing needed to be replaced. Everyday I called and asked what the status was and I would get an excuse for why it wasn't fixed. They said they can't get the part then the part is on it way then the * Team auto mechanic doesn't want to work on it. They take to tapit transmission to have them fix it. I asked for a receipt for the parts the mechanic supposedly replaced and I was told they would text it to me.......ok. during these days they had the car and kept blowing me off I told them I don't trust you and want a refund. They told me good luck with that and one of the employees or owner want to then physically fight me at the dealer when the car was ready to be picked up. During the days they had my vehicle they damaged the front and rear bumpers and gouged the interior panels badly, like they were hauling something big and backing into something that destroyed the rear bumper. These people lied about fixing it and just wiped up the oil and gave it back to me knowing it takes a while for the oil to pool before spills over and your able to notice it leaking again.Business response
