We had an awful experience at Transitowne ***. My wife went for a fuse box recall and inspection. As she pulled in the driveway her power steering failed. The service person came with a laundry list of problems besides the steering - including bad ball joints, frozen calipers, etc. Supposedly well over $4,000 in repairs. He suggested she talk with a sales rep as he car had over 110,000 miles and was 13 years old. She did but wasn't happy with the offers. We slept on it, had the car towed to a mechanic near our house who had the car repaired and inspected for under $500. I asked the mechanic to check the laundry list items provided by *** and he said they were not a problem. I would not trust their service center.Review from Latisha A

This dealer is very untrustworthy, and they give false information. I've had issues with my truck every since it's been in their care this year. I bring my truck to a dealer before I brung it to **** for a diagnostic and nothing was wrong with my exhaust. I have records, and videos. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle from **** today, nothing was tookin care of, it was in worse condition. The whole exhaust was loose, rusted, and damaged. My exhaust was not like that when I dropped my truck off to them ??????????. I have video recordings of my vehicle and it was not in the condition. 11:51 4 all = Transitowne **** ******** *****... Post This has been a horrific experience this dealer had my vehicle for 2 months. The communication is awful from management down. I took my vehicle into the dealership due to my truck overheating. I had to call multiple times just to be jerked around. It's been Lie after lie. My warranty company has gotten involved cause they found what they we're saying as fishy. The dealer stated it was the head gasket however When the adjuster conducted testing the head gasket had no issues found. The warranty company has asked for more testing to identify the issue but the dealership has not done anything. According to the warranty company they have not been in contact for weeks now. My vehicle is just sitting there. When I ask for a loaner there is never any available. I have contacted the service manager multiple times yet there is no response. Leah my person of contact has not been very forthcoming and honest. At this point Im contacting my attorney. This has cost me thousands of dollars taking ***** and renting cars. DO NOT buy or lease here. This is a horribly run company, that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone. I regret leasing through these people.Review from AMY JO K

DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE $300 TO RECHARGE MY AIR CONDITIONING AND WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP IT WAS $600. THEY DID NOT EVEN GIVE ME A CALL TO LET ME KNOW IT WAS GOING TO BE THIS MUCH. I DONT KNOW HOW THAY THINK THAY CAN GET AWAY WITH SUCH AN OVER CHARGE.Review from scott j

***Do not Take your vehicle here for any type of repairs*** I took my *** ***** here for a check engine light, dropped the car off and went on my way, The next day I was told that they could not get to my car and it would have to wait for the next day, The following day I heard nothing and called around 2:00PM and was informed they could not get to the car because the *** ******** online service that they use to diagnose the vehicles with was Down and had been for a couple of weeks, now one would think that they would have informed me of this even before I dropped off my car, on day 3 same thing, *** ******** was down, I needed my car so I drove the 25 minutes back to Transitowne and picked up my still broken vehicle. A few dayS later I received a text from someone at what I presume was the dealership asking how my experience was and if I could complete a survey, I texted back my thoughts on the absolute atrocious and lousy customer service and my overall experience, I was then texted back a couple days later and was told that the *** ******** online tool was back online and to bring my car back the following week on a Wednesday. On Tuesday I called just to be sure that everything was ready for my appointment, well, guess what? At first they had no appointment scheduled for me, then mysteriously They did, but I was told that the *** ******** Online service was still DOWN and that my car could be there for days .. AGAIN!! I then knew that this was absolute BS, and for whatever reason they were blowing smoke up my arse. I then called another *** dealership and asked the service department if the *** ******** tool was down, they stated it was not and to bring my car in, They asked me who the other dealership was and I told them TransitTowne, the service manager simply stated 'That doesn’t surprise me.Review from Marques R

Its very disappointing when a trusted company starts hiring anybody to repair a car. I took my car in for repair to a Dodge dealership I own a 2013 Dodge Charger SXT I too k it to Transittowne Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram located ay 7408 Transit Rd Williamsville NY 14221. I dropped the car off on September 27 2022 for what was an axle repair issue to pick it up the next day. September 28 2022 the car was not ready in fact in removing what needed to be repaired they broke the bearrings another part which they said would be a 2-3 week wait before they can repair the car. I was told since I didn't purchase my car at this particular dealer my warranty for a rental didn't apply there and they didn't have any available rentals and they also are on back order so no available cars and the cost would be $45.00 a day. seriously I could not understand this type of treatment. It is Now October 12, the end of the day! and I haven't received word from the repair shop yet, With caller ID my phone calls are being ignored I know they are, when I get my girlfriend to use her phone it gets picked up. This is bad business it has affected my daily living. Between busses and ***** and ***** I get to work , my family depends on me for transportation especially my mother who has doctors appointments and church. If I could give zero stars I would. I bought my Jeep there in May and less then a month later it wouldn't start. I got it to the dealer, it was there 3 days then I picked it up. A week later I am driving and I lost all power steering and didn't have a shifter. The dealership had it for 11 days said they fixed it so I pick it up. Less then 24 hours later Its on a flat bed back to the dealer for the same problem. TWO WEEKS they had it and I pick it up and I didn't even make it off the lot before all the service lights came back on. I finally said this is insane you have to take this car back. They then tried forcing me into a vehicle that was a year older than the one I bought with less features for a higher monthly payment. When I looked at the numbers I asked where my massive down payment went from the first car and they told me they were going to use it to pay off my previous loan since the car with all the issues went down in value and by trading it in the value of it wouldn't cover the balance of my loan. So they were going to take my money to pay off the loan they gave me when they sold me a broken car just to minimize their loss. I told them forget it and to keep trying to fix my car. I am out a lot of money and a drivable vehicle that I still have to make payments on because of their unethical business practices. I will also mention when I first purchased the wrangler I went to take the doors off and discovered one of my doors had no bolts connecting it to the rest of the vehicle. Which means the door could have went flying off at any time since the 2 bolts were missing and they let me leave the dealership like that. I get bounced around from representative to representative and manager to manager because I truly don't think anyone wants to deal with this major issue. Do not recommend buying a vehicle from here. I have since filed a Lemon Law claim since they don't wanna own up to their mistakes.Review from Gary H

i had an appointment for 12;00 pm 5/25-2022 for a 2022 *** Hemi Black **** ******** with Brooke D******, talked to her on the phone about the **** had 12 miles on it and was available with leather interior, she texted me on 5/24-2022 to setup appointment to text her or call her which I wrote Ok then at 4;21 PM I wrote Can I set up an appointment, at 8;19 PM she sent me Certainly. Does tomorrow at 12PM work or is 4;30PM better I wrote 12 is good. At 7;53AM on Wednesday May 25,2022 a reminder was sent to me and I responded with a C to confirm the appointment and I also sent See you at 12;00PM. I drive an hour to the dealership get there at 12;00PM and was greeted by a man that informed me Brooke D****** wasn't there and the *** **** ******** was sold and no one informed me, but they had another *** **** ******** that was in the shop with 54 miles on it, but he didn't know what was wrong with it. I left and my wife and I tried calling the sales department several times and got hung up on, terrible service, there were at lest 10 salespeople and not one called or texted to say the ******** was sold. They made me pay for the TIPM up front (which I think is illegal), and then tried charging me for the TIPM again after the repair. Good thing I had proof with my credit card statements or else they didn’t believe me. Note: The guy next to me was also being double charged and the service officer didn't apologies, but asked his manager for help. Makes me wonder how many people were overcharged. There is a male service/repair desk employee that works in the center cubicle. He is very disrespectful and blames the customer for faulty repairs. I paid $2K to have the TIPM replaced due to electrical problems, it took 3 months to get it installed. They had to send two TIPM's back when they didn't work. It only took 6 days for the part to come in, said they would get me in the day of, and instead took a whole month for me to get in. 3 TIPM's = 3 months. The first go, the original service officer Mike was taking care of it and then randomly went onto vacation and when I called in, no one knew anything and couldn't figure anything out. They don’t know what is happening over there. Later, after the first TIPM was sent back, they didn’t call me to notify me to pick up my ****. When I asked the service rep why he didn't call me when they had to send the first TIPM back, instead of apologizing, he says "We are too busy. Everyone is quitting left and right. You should think of the mechanic because he had to take out the TIPM and then replace it. Even *****'s cant get cups in (Referring to parts)". I am very flexible, but they seem they are not interested in calling or apologies to their customers. Just bad excuse after excuse. 2nd go, I arrived to drop my **** off on the schedule date. The service officer had no idea what kind of work was being done. I get a call the following day telling me the TIPM hasn’t even arrived and you need to come pick up your ****. I asked why they didn’t tell me when I dropped off the **** and instead they gave me an excuse. 3rd go, I finally got the new TIPM, but it didn't fix those electrical problems. It even created more electrical problems. I brought the **** back and that same male service desk employee was very confrontational with me, no apology again, and he said “well there is an electrical surge in the wiring.” I then responded with "Why did you guys replace the most expensive part when they could have troubleshot the electrical cables first." He then turned it on me and blamed me saying that I have too many mods. What? My Lift and tires? Come on...
