Refrigerator was purchase by a senior citizen. The appliance was purchase new on Oct. 3 and delivered Oct. 5. Within 2 weeks the compressor stopped working and the consumer has been without a refrigerator since then. We have called Dave H****, who sent a repairman came on Oct 31. They indicated that they will not repair a compressor and have not offered to replace or help. The consumer was given a number for ********** to contact and as of today, November 13, one month later the senior citizen is living with no refrigerator. I have called Dave H**** for her and they hung up on me, stating they will not help.Business response

Hello We were contacted but customer on 10-25-2023 that Refrigerator was not working correctly Freezing in Refrigerator area , We set up a service call to go and see the problem on 10-31-23 , at that time service person found cooling system not working correctly , and called ********** Tech line to make complaint to company that unit need to be exchanged file #******** was given from ********** to customer and that some one from ********** company would contact her to make excahnge ************** We have stated ********** will make exchange for customer.Initial Complaint

Purchased a ********** refrigerator September 2021. It broke completely End of July/early August 2022 leaving us out of $200+ of food. Called for servicing as they “service what we sell”. Someone came for 30 seconds and they sent us a 3rd party ********** serviceman. However when the fridge broke 2 more additional times I reached out for help and their only response was to go through ********** for all issues since they “fixed” it the first time. They would not assist with the fact a new fridge broke fully within the year warranty. Six months later we remain without a working fridge. I have called and asked to speak with the owner/manager and have been told he is “unavailable”. My husband has been hung up on by an employee at the business when asking for a solution. This business advertises “we service what we sell” but in reality they outsource you to repair workers who don’t answer calls, take months to assist with resolutions and you are left spending hours on the phone with the manufacturer. I understand policy however the fridge was under warranty when it originally broke. I do believe this is wrong as if something is under warranty that they sold it should be eligible for refund or full replacement without charge.
