1. CONTRACT INFO Invoice #**** $7500 deposit paid on 1/24/2023. Balance paid in full on 3/28/2023. /// 2. FINISHED PRODUCT DID NOT MATCH WRITTEN BID a. We did not get a "hard,fresh,smooth surface" as per the bid. There are now dips and bumps in floor. The rooms were empty and Justin had a clean slate. We think that not enough floor leveler was used. We raised the issue and he mixed a bit more, but things are not level. Any eyeball test or marble test can verify if the floor is not level. No glue used for two rooms. Charged extra for glue in last two rooms. b. New faucet damaged during laundry sink assembly. We could not use the faucet properly (we replaced it!) Justin did not make us aware of any problems. c. Poor installation of laundry cabinets. We had to uninstall and re-install. We did not take pictures. d. Initial door threshold were cracked and not very functional. Some doors do not close completely since new thresholds were installed. /// 3. LAST VISIT STILL LEFT SOME TASKS TO BE COMPLETED a. Multiple threshholds left to replace/repair. b. Caulking not done in some spots along walls/doorways. c. Trash from the job was left in our basement. d. Basement posts were not repaired. e. Basement doorway never closed up at end. /// 4. POOR COMMUNICATION/JOB NOT COMPLETED Paid in full on 3/28 as requested. Justin has not returned since 3/28 to complete the last few tasks. 3/28: Evening: Justin acknowledges the issues via text. 3/30: Justin said he would text next day at 3 or 4. Nope. 4/01: Justin acknowledges the issues. "Yessir. Sounds good". 4/03: Justin acknowledges the issues. "It's no problem". 4/11: Justin asked me for a good day. I said Tuesday was best. 4/17: Reminded Justin about 4/18. 4/18: At 10:30 AM he texted he will TRY to make it. Nope. 4/19: I texted him twice, no texts back on 4/19 and 4/20. 4/21: Confirmed 12-1 PM on 4/25. 4/25: Texted he was running late. He never followed up. 4/26: Justin did not respond to my text.Business response

There shouldn't have been any issues remaining to begin with since the customers completed a final walk through together with me when the invoice was paid in full. But i returned anyway to address all issues which have been corrected and handled. Work has been completed in full with a final touch up visit.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is somewhat satisfactory to me.The latest business response does not mesh with our text history (I still have all the messages). Last visit did not include a final walkthrough. Justin let himself out the door with no handshake or walkthrough. We do not want Justin and team back on our propery for any projects and can not recommend him to others.
With that being said, we can "close out" this complaint. Please publish our comments if appropriate for others to consume.
