We purchased a RUUD Commercial Air Conditioner from Webber Heating and Air Conditioning 4/2023. They purchased the unit from ** ****** *** in Columbus, OH. Since the unit was installed we have incurred several breakdowns and broken parts in the system. We have paid additional $3000 in repairs to the system and now the motors have broken down in less than a year. Webber is now requiring that we pay another $4000 in repairs for a system that is fully under warranty. Neither RUUD, ** ****** or Webber HVAC will take responsibility for the lemon of a unit. We are requesting a new system be installed at no cost to us.

Webber installed a 10-ton RUDD outdoor air conditioner 4/25/2023 at a ***** ***** ******* ** *** ** **** **** ************* **** *****. The compressor has failed and a timely replacement cost estimate was provided to the owner. The costs were for 48-Pounds of R-410A freon and the freight charges to ship the compressor from RUDD/RHEEM. The labor is at no charge during the one year warranty. The total revised estimate at Webber's true cost to the owner in the amount of $2,371.00 as referenced in attached Webber letter to a ****** ** ******** ***** ******** ***. Freon has no warranty from the manufacture but all parts have a one year warranty for this commercial air conditioner.
The compressor has been at the supplier *** ****** since April 2, 2024 awaiting Webber to pick it up. The owner has not approved the true cost estimate from Webber so the compressor is yet to be installed.
