I was going to rent a property from them after reviewing the lease I decided against it but prior to that I met them at the office in canton February 8,2024 with 2 blank money orders I didn’t wanna fill them out without the lease being filled out I ended up not signing I requested the money orders back I was given the run around until Monday February 12,2024 she told me the money orders would be in front of the door on the floor when I arrived to get them they had already been filled out well we agreed the money orders wouldn’t be filled out until after I signed the lease which she didn’t have present at the office she emailed me the lease so I tried to take them to my bank they told me because they were filled out to a third party already they couldn’t accept them I took them back to the store I got them from I was told the same thing I then let Meghan know hey you weren’t suppose to fill these out but from my understanding all you have to do is go to the bank you all use and get a cashier check for 1800$ and we can trade she stated to me she didn’t know what to tell me I have every text message and recordings of her she was never supposed to fill the money orders out ever I had to make a police report still she just doesn’t care she told me mail them to the California address on the front and wait for them to send a return!! Please investigate this business they are doing fraudulent activity I have severe anxiety ptsd and depression this has hindered me from being able to rent the home I wanted because my money is tied up I have had several anxiety attacks I had to make other living arrangements you can’t do stuff like that and it just be over looked because of who you know not to mention she got under my review and made false statements saying I was aggressive no where do you see me being aggressive that’s slander she can’t get away with this because Lawrence Realty should have never filled out the money orders or stamped them

You lied on your application and did not disclose that you had a dog then talked about your dog.You said it was an esa which we we welcomed but you said you didn’t have papers for.We asked you to please get the papers for it.Then you said you wouldn’t be able to produce paperwork for it which means it was not an esa and we still welcomed it because this particular landlord welcomed pets.We explained we needed to change to change the lease once more to identify the non esa animal. And we did and as any of our rentals with pets (non service or esa) there is a pet deposit and pet rent as most any rentals charge. But you refused to pay it. Between that and you originally lying on your application about a pet in general, the “confusion” on the esa status of the dog.Along with the fact that you refused to sign the new lease reflecting your dog-we had no other choice then to release you and return the money orders to you that you gave us for your deposit and first months rent. You cannot lie on your rental application, and not be charged for pets, like every other tenant. That and a current DV case that we were willing to give you a chance on, it was best to part ways now.The only reason you wrote this is because when we returned your money orders is because they were made out to Lawrence Realty. When you handed them to me they were blank because you didn’t know who to make them out to. So I told you as I filled them out.We can’t have blank money orders lying around for your own protection. You were angry because you said you didn’t “ want to wait 10 days for them to process your money back to you”. When you said they originally wouldn’t at all and I actually proved again you were not being honest and how to get them reissued. You then called the police about the money orders. The police agreed we handled everything correctly and that’s when you started leaving bad reviews everywhere. If you had been honest in the beginning you wouldn’t have had all these issues.

Lease date 4/30/21-4/30-22. I was told my security deposit would be in my hand within 30 days of the keys being turned in. Keys were turned in 5/1/22. I have yet to receive my deposit. I contacted them at the beginning of June. Was told it’d be mailed out that week. Never was. Contacted the co owner 6/20/22 to see if I could just pick it up. Received a respond 6/21/22 saying they’d look in to it. Didn’t receive another response until I reached out again 6/23/22. Was told I could get it 6/24/22. Went 6/24/22 to the office to pick up check. Was told I didn’t listen to instructions about telling them I was on my way there. Have text evidence that I told her I would be there around 5:00pm 6/24/22. Got there, called twice, texted twice and rang doorbell twice. No answer. Got a text that the check wasn’t there and that I again didn’t listen to instructions and that I was to let them know before I left which I did and she read my message at 1:30 but failed to tell me it wasn’t there throughout my one (1) hour drive it takes to get there. It has now been fifty-six (56) days since I have turned in my keys. The security deposit is in the amount of $650.00.
