Jim's crew replaced some siding on the front of my home .they removed 3 sets of shutters and according to him they layed them in my yard.about 7 months later he returned and painted the siding and left. I texted him and asked about putting my shutters back up and he said he didn't have them. He told me to buy them and he would put put them up. I said no , he took them down it's his responsibility to make sure nothing happens to them and they get put back up. So THATS the way its ended. He refused to buy themBusiness response

Mr. ******’s house is one of the 100 or more houses in the *********** ******* condo development that we resided at least one side of the structure and then painted the entire structure per insurance claim. We removed his shutters as we did on all the other houses and told him it would be sometime next year 2022 before we found a reliable painter. His shutters were placed along side his garage and we told him he could move them into the harage if he preferred to. Since then, we have painted about 60of the housed and re-hung the existing shutters that were either where we left them or from where the homeowner had stored them. This is the only house where missing shutters have become an issue. Mr. ****** approached the condo trying to get them to purchase him new shutters, when they refused to, he came after us. If you want to delve deeper into this ongoing situation, contact the service manager for the *********** ******* condo association.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I didn't have a conversation with jim about putting the shutters in my garage, that was impossible, I was in costa Rica on vacation, and I didn't contact the association and ask them to buy them, they didn't take them down or misplace them jim did. If he wasn't going to return for some time to finish the job he should have put them back up so nothing would happen to them.. again I feel it's his responsibility
Regards,
***** ******
