DON’T USE THEM! They recently bought out our local waste disposal company and picked up last week just like the former company did on Friday. We received a card in the mail that stated starting this week we will be picked up on Saturday. Not picked up neither was our neighbors. The people on the route were picked up. We are the only two houses at the end of our street so I guess they decided it wasn’t worth their time to come get our trash. This was part of the reason why when the local company opened I moved my service to them and dropped Rumpke because the service and cost was outrageous. Now I am back where I started and only two weeks in and very, very unhappy.Rumpke Waste & Recycling Response

On 10/17 our entire street did not get trash pickup as scheduled. I live in a community that we pay trash with rent monthly. I called and received a message the next day. The message said the trash would be picked up in 48hrs. She forgot to add that this does not include weekends. Well l called today 10/21 and was told that it will be picked up by end if business today. They have done this at least three times since April. Then make you wait until the next week. Trash bins are overflowing at this point and makes the community smell.Rumpke Waste & Recycling Response

On 10/4 the Rumpke trash guy dropped my personal 96 gallon trash can into their truck. The truck driver yelled out the window and told my husband that they will make it right. I immediately call the 800 number and the agent said they are not responsible for stolen trash cans and only offer to send a new container and have me pay a fee for it. This solution is unacceptable since Rumpke took my can and my husband and I witnessed it. Since the solution was unfair to me, I requested to speak with someone higher up. The agent said they will email the local center and have the supervisor contact me. As of 10/7 at 4:37pm no one has called or emailed me.Rumpke Waste & Recycling Response

Do not hire this company for trash removal! Yesterday the driver went right past our dumpster and we wee told someone would come back and they never did. Called again today (Friday) and was told they would try to get someone here even though its a non-pickup day. A previous complaint was lodged because the driver dropped a bunch of our garbage on the street and we had to pick it up. Again I was told a supervisor would call ma back -nope. My account is paid three months in advance but I will cancel their service by then.Rumpke Waste & Recycling Response

I’d like to give a big thank you to John C******** and Todd M******* for their cheerful, kind, and professional service. My neighbor and I have a fun competition to see who can be the first to bring in each other’s bins—I’m running to her side while she’s racing to get mine. John and Todd always join in the fun with friendly encouragement. They even asked about my neighbor’s needs and offered to bring her bin up to the house when I’m not around. Disgusting company I cancelled service bc of high cost I have overpayment of 34.00 with them Representative said I would be refunded once payment cleared since it was before payment was due It's been 24 days, no refund Called several times and get different answers Told it's on hold until they retrieve they trashcan Overpayment is a separate issue and is illegal to hold payment pending on them getting their lousy butts out to pick up a can that's been on curb for 24 days. Says they will lose 80.00 if they can't get their can Where will the amount of money come from? You are holding 34.00. I contacted several attorneys and told to take you to court. You will lose and will pay my court cost as well if this isn't resolved You have no right to the overpayment. I can also file fraud with my bank. If I could give this company a zero I would. We have had so many issues with Rumpke. They don't pick up your trash on your service date, it sits out front for weeks at your house, you cancel with them and it takes 10 days or more for them to pick up their trash can. Very unprofessional customer service. We will never use them again and will let every single person in our area know on every platform we have how incredibly terrible this company, its service and employees are.Rumpke Waste & Recycling Response

I have lived at my location for about a decade. Have had Rumpke service the entire time. No one will pick up my trash reliably. When you call customer support, they say they are going to put in a call to the supervisor, yet no one ever returns. This is almost a weekly issue. They came to pick up trash from our dumpster and there was something in the way apparently. No problem we moved it and they said they would be out the next day. They never showed. We called for the 3rd time now and they now said they'll have to charge more because it was 2 days after the scheduled day- but the day prior they weren't going to charge because it was next day- they just never showed and also didn't show the next day. We have been calling and going through this ordeal for going in 2 weeks now.... that is insane. Horrible customer service.Rumpke Waste & Recycling Response

As a service, and its serviceworkers: 5/5. The oversight, handling of the company's financials, handling of the documentation generation automation, website security, account credential storage, data handling practices, and customer dashboard tools are so poorly managed that I get over 5 email blank statements a month, have had to create over 10 different accounts over the past decade to even be able to pay my bill on the same exact account, and pay statements come randomly well after the three month interval.
