On Dec 2, 2023 I paid a down payment of $30.84 to Rent-a-Center for a mattress and base. They ended up not bringing it when they said they would, multiple days. I asked for a refund and the gentleman working said the manager would have to do it. I came the next day and spoke to the manager and she said it was done but I had to wait a couple of days. 2 weeks later, I still didn't have my refund. She told me to contact corporate I.T. I called them and a man said ***** would call me back about my refund., the was a week and a half ago and no one has called. I want my money back.

      Hello,

We completely understand *** ******** concerns and sympathize that this has taken the amount of time it has to resolve.. We did complete the refund at the store level. The transaction did post at the store level showing the money refunded to *** ********** card. After some time of not showing on *** ********** bank account, we pushed the complaint to our finance office. Our finance office was not able to pull the transaction on their end. When we discovered this we called *** ******** to let her know that we would go ahead and do a cash refund to her in person at the store to resolve the matter. We appreciate our customers. *** ******** is an existing customer and has completed business for many years with us. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused her, and we hope that she will continue to do business at her local branch.

I have attached the first transaction that was completed at the store showing a refund to her card. I have also attached the refund that was done in cash to *** ********.

      Warm regards,

      Shannon S******** Regional Director
