I got discriminated 2 times by the manager Donna and Jessy. I had lived in the pavilion since 2015 and I moved out in 2023 because I was looking for a school bus fit my kids. After 3 months I decided to go back to the pavilion because the place I chose to move was far from my work. They rejected my application for the first time because I called the corporate to ask why they are taking so long to respond to my application. I asked to meet with Donna the manager. I explained to her all the circumstances. She was investigating me as if I’m a criminal and she was standing the whole meeting and investigating me as if I’m a criminal . She told me keep calling the corporates and complain you will get rejected!!!! I applied for the second time and I asked to meet with Jessy the second manager. I went with my neighbor who is living there and when he came , he kicked out of the office without even listening to us. It was so humiliate .I was planning to apply for a third time , and one of the employee told my neighbor there is abig No for me?!!! Like what did I do ? I sound all the moving fee on time I have the approve I’m always paying my rent before the end of the month. I was really mistreated so bad.Review from tony l

Brookfield Properties will Retaliate against you By not renewing a lease If you report an issue that cost them money. They do not care about the tenants They have been charging ridiculous prices for every little thing. They have called tenants crazy, not being rich enough. So degrading toward their tenants. False advertising. also. Not giving 24-hour notice for coming into your apartment. Calling tenants rude and ignorant. Giving information Personal information out to solicitors. Giving excuses not to fix things. So many threats against Senior Citizens are on the high rise. Leaving them with emotional distress that is uncalled for. Abuse! Of the elderly that can't defend themselves. Making them scared that they won't have a place to live. Harassment. Showing favoritism toward certain tenants. Giving False information and taking advantage of the elderly. Not keeping up and in violation of fire codes. The elevator broke down a lot. But Blame things on the tenants, not the management.Review from Jeffrey M.

Brookfield Properties are slumlords. They knowingly bought the only affordable place to live in Strongsville. Home to many seniors and disabled folks who have lived here a decade or more. They ran us out of our homes by raising rent hundreds of dollars for no reason. This place is a literal dump. Garbage all over the lawn, feces and urine in halls/elevators/stairs for months, constant theft, spray paint graffiti, car break ins, shootings, drugs, incompetent staff, ignored maintenance requests. I've witnessed Tammy giving tours to possible new residents when there was visible poop smeared all over the elevator and so much urine it made my nostrils curl. She acted like nothing was wrong and did not notify anyone. Zero integrity. I've never seen anyone work so hard to not do her job than Jessica. She can't even plan an event properly and now she works in the office it's pathetic. Three maintenance men qui5 last month what does that tell you? They refuse to look at the cameras and evict people stealing packages and car parts daily! Not enough dumpsters, they are always overflowing. When i moved in the apartment was filthy, they painted over dirt, broken dishwasher, broken heaters, dead bugs all over the place, broken faucet and showerhead. They literally ignored me for years. YEARS. Pervert cleaning man would harass women and follow them around the property. He stole their clothes from the washer and tried to extort money from.the owners to give it back. $75 every time. When multiple people reported him the office said they were liars.Customer Response

Disgusting, filthy, run-down apt. complex with major plumbing issues, fecal contamination issues, electrical problems, insect, pest & rodent infestations. Outdated fixings. Elevators down. Terrible customer service & maintenance teams. Cheap replacement items. Mold. Unnecessary fees. Significant annual rent & fees increases. Garbage all over parking lot. Dog poop all over lawn. Garage doors collapsing. Two shootings at building, including man with sniper rifle on roof. Save your money and RUN! Intercom system does not work. Cannot update the portal. Like paying rent with a credit card? There's a 20% "convenience fee" added on to that, too.Review from Derek P

Initially, me and partner had planned on staying here around 4 years while I finished my doctorate and then move to wherever that may take us, but after the horrible display of human treatment offered at Cherry Tree Village and their parent company Brookfield Properties, I not only will be relocating as fast as possible, but I will be making it my mission to see to it this company gets its karma. We moved here around March of 2021, the rental prices seemed higher than anything else in the area but for the location, being that it was far away from the mall and bustle of Strongsville’s Town Square, we agreed. I work in real estate as well but for a lending company, so I see situations all the time of high rent prices driving people into buying and was hoping to save some money while renting here. The trouble started in February 2022 when our lease renewals were released and revealed a 60% increase for all terms across the board, and naturally, I was appalled this company who had never fixed a single leaky sink, never brought in an exterminator for our ant problems, never fixed 2 leaking ceilings or even put salt down in their parking lots during winter storms, could possibly believe they are worth such a grotesque increase. I called the Cherry Tree Office and was answered by someone named Niki ***** who was kind on our first phone call and assured she would speak with the regional director about it. Ten days go by with no return call and so I called up again, this time getting a very different Niki. Rude, ignorant, and enough homophobic slurs had gone by after telling me they “would not be budging on the prices because the regional director decided not too” was essentially my answer. Following that slanderous call, her ‘minion’ Lydia was the only one who would answer any calls and called me ‘moronic’ several times before stating “I should have been wealthier if I wanted to live here” with a few more cracks. Brookfield of course cannot be bothered with “such trivial ma
