I tried to send this to the CEO and email bounce back. Mr ******, My name is Kevin and I have had an RV loan with your bank since 2014. The original loan amount was 315K. My buyer had **** send in a cashier's check for 42,000.00 that was received by Key Bank on Friday 10/19 at 8:30am. **** required that they send in that amount directly to Key as this is being paid out of a loan my buyer took out. I paid off the rest of the loan yesterday at one of the local locations here in Colorado Springs. I have spoken to 6 people at Key Bank to include 3 supervisors. No one has provided any solutions to getting this check posted to my account. We were told on Friday it would be processed on Monday. On Monday we were told it would be processed on Tuesday. Still not applied as of today. The buyers flew into Colorado to pick up the coach and they are equally upset. They paid with a cashiers check for 133k at the local location and that showed up right away. The cashier's check still nothing. My loan number is xxxxxxxxx The **** check fedx routing number is xxxxxxxx Please have someone get this applied to my loan today. The new owners are in possession of the RV as they were wanting me to pay for accommodations while this was not their delay. I closed out my account September 19th. September 20th charges went through on my closed account and they will not solve the problem they caused. Charges take days to clear. You may or may not get notified of fraudulent charges and have the option to say no it's not you. Don't order a new card cuz it takes longer than 5 business days, they tell you 3 to 5 business days when you order a new card. Mine took 6 business days, it arrived after I closed my account. Whatever you do DO NOT get an account with Keybank.Review from Alonna H

I attempted over 6 times to purchase my birthday garment using my KeyBank card. The first attempt sent a text message for a fraud alert and my transaction was declined. The text message prompted me to call in and verify that it was me attempting my purchase and I did so. The customer service representative was so rude that I asked for a supervisor and was told to try “another payment method”. My second call to the bank I reached another agent who told me that she could unblock the card that was supposedly already unblocked. She attempted to lift the restrictions and as the first reported lifted but I could not use my card for the purchase. The last attempt when calling into the bank. I was told again. That restrictions were on the card and had to be lifted. Now today after weeks of waiting for an Investigation. The bank corporate rep Alyssa tells me it was the merchants fault and not KeyBank. Sequential every representative had to lift a restriction off my card after every attempt to purchase from this website. I was even asked by one of the rudest representatives if “I was aware that the dress was coming from another country” Not only does the bank investigate an issue with no resolution, they stick to the lies they’ve told as a team. KeyBank has been a nightmare. I will be closing my account. As soon as possible.Review from Linda N

I have my mortgage with KeyBank. The payment due date is in the middle of the month. I have asked numerous times to have it moved to the end of the month. I was told that they don’t do that anymore. Instead, I get charged a $40 late fee EVERY SINGLE MONTH when I have called and explained all my bills are due in the middle of the month so it will be late every single month. They only take your money they don’t want to help you. I have had a bank account with them for 5 years. And as soon as my direct deposits hit I pull them out and put them on the cash app. Bills take days to process.I put a paycheck in and 4 days later.I still can only access a hundred dollars of my thousand dollar pay check. This bank likes to hoard your money and not let you have your own money. It is the absolute worst institution.I have ever done business with and I will be closing my account after six years very soon. I now have to reschedule my car repairs.Because my paycheck that I put in on saturday during business hours is not available on monday? And if I bring the car in today and I don't have my paycheck to pay for it.They're going to charge me a hundred and forty dollars a day.... All because the bank is hoarding my money. Key Bank is the absolute worst bank you could go through. Their online banking app is always down. Tonight they turned everyone.Step at cards off without letting anyone know for "maitance" so now I can't feed my kid dinner. I called and rhe lady said hopefully by 11pm which is absolutly ridiculous.Review from Robert G

CD Interest Grievance Rolling over A CD seven months ago and given the lowest interest rate of 0.05% Instead of the 5.00% as advertised!! I recently went to the Rocky River Branch Key Bank to cash in my 15K CD from nine months ago. After speaking with THE ROCKY RIVER BANK MANAGER she acknowledged when the bank rolled over my CD for another 7 months the CD was given an interest rate of 0.05% not the 5.00% as advertised by Key Bank. She ALSO NOTED THAT KEY BANK WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME TO negotiate the 5.00%. I NEVER RECIEVED THE PHONE CALL When I rolled over the initial deposited, the intention was that Key would continue the 5.00% interest rate! I made a dismal $4.50 in interest after cashing in my 2nd CD over a 7-month period. Key bank owes me the 5.00% interest for the past 7 months to include the compounded interest, of the $435.34, which was earned on the initial investment of my CD. I cannot believe Key Bank pulled such a ROTTEN trick, and most likely others, that have EXPERIENCED the same thing I have. I have been with KEY bank for over 30 years and you intentionally screwed me with a lower CD Interest rate. Maybe I should close out all my accounts and go with chase or a more reputable/honest bank….This is just Pitiful!! I expect a full reimbursement for the money you cheated me out of!! But of Course, they denied the request Or is this how your managers make their quarterly bonuses by playing games with their customers money! They refused to correct their error. This a Terrible mistake that they took no responsibility for. This scenario seems to be a consistent pattern of behavior , this is a piss poor way to operate. This review is not only for the branch I dealt with but for KeyBank as a whole, including their customer service, protocols, and policies. KeyBank left me homeless despite having enough money to cover my expenses. A fraud investigation was initiated on my account, but my money was cleared, and nobody ever informed me what the investigation was about. They issued me a cashier's check with the remaining thousands of dollars I needed for moving. Right when I arrived at my new location, KeyBank stopped my account, rendering me unable to access my funds. I had to borrow money from others, leading to unnecessary expenses that I now have to pay back. This situation has ruined my life. I couldn't attend school, pay my car insurance, or cover my housing fees. KeyBank's incompetence and lack of accommodation have caused irreparable damage to my life. Everyone I dealt with at KeyBank, from the branch to customer service, was unhelpful and unsympathetic. Their protocols and policies are flawed, and their customer service is abysmal. Avoid KeyBank at all costs. I will still be contacting the Attorney General's office in hopes that no one will have to go through what I had to. I have a child, a husband, and pets, and I nearly had to sleep in my car with them. This review will not be the end. I'm going to try to make sure no one is ever treated like this again by this bank. Even after the investigation was done and they gave me back my money in the form of a cashier's check they still never apologized for all they did to me. Run for the hills you all. I can't keep explaining my situation in more details as it is all too unbearable to keep remembering. Just trust me run for the hills when it comes to this bank.
