I am writing this complaint toward The Gardens Apartments for violating Fair Credit Reporting and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, by sending me to collections over a paid for and completed balance. I moved out of The Gardens Apartments from my lease end on 12/28/2023, and received a statement summary bill on 01/11/2024, to the sum of $185.16. The statement summary also stated that the payment was covered and paid by **************** Following this statement on 01/30/2024, I also submitted payment to **************** reimbursing the claim payment of $185.16. Six months later on 06/24/2024, I received a letter from ***************** that The Gardens had sent this debt into collections, even though it had been covered and paid in full. This letter was dated on 06/18/2024.The Gardens' negligence of personal private and sensitive information has now resulted in hardships and potential credit damages to myself, and I am requesting correction to the debt to include deletion of the false debt, correction of information, as well as confirmation of correction and resolution.

      Hello,

Our collection agency, Pay ready sent correspondence about the account in question. I submitted all the information informing them that ********************* account has been paid for in full, and they stated they will submit a request to pull the account back from collections. I have also attached a copy of the Final Account Statement to reflect the $0 balance. It is not clear how or why the account has been reported, however we are currently in the process of having it removed.

      Thank you!

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]

      Complaint: 21953992

I am rejecting this response because: While I understand that this account is in the process of being closed/removed, it has not been confirmed or validated that this has been completed yet. I am not going to accept this response until there is documented verification from The Gardens that the removal has been completed and it is shown that my credit will not/has not been impacted.

      Regards,

The Gardens apartments is in breach of contract. I have a signed contract stating that my garage is $65 per month, yet they demand I pay $85. My rent this month has been paid as per the contract, but they plan to start charging late fees.

I move in at The Gardens Apartment in 2019 under different. owners and it was a great place to live. Very convent I work for DirecTV company, the apartment had a dish on every apartment, the Church I attend is five mins, away, I had neighbor living upstarts you wouldn't know someone live upstairs, they move out and a young man move upstairs with two roommates, same thing they were quite, those roommates left and some other roommates move in, then I can hear noise like a heavy object rolling around on the floor, as if the carpeting. Has been remove, I told the movement about it and they did absolutely nothing, I suffer those noise for three to four months, they kept me up at night, I have to go to sleep when they go to sleep, then the young man move out and left them up there, I told them to check my apartment for bugs, so my lease was ending in October, I told then I'm not going to renew my lease that is when they was escorted off the premises by the police, i was force to move out because I had to get this apartment before my lease was up and money was deducted for the electricity, and thy haven't, mailed the balance of $136.00 thy told that they've mailed it 3 times already, so far nothing had come to my mail from them? I need to be compensated for 4 month's rent and my security deposit, and the cost for moving plus pain and suffering.

Here’s a copy of the check they sent,
Stated the reason for rejection, you can see from the
corresponding conversation the appointment was already
Rented with me still living in it,
Therefore the Electric was paid with my security deposit, every
      After I’ve move out,
