I get spam calls from them weekly, sometimes more than once a day. I don't have any collections, credit cards, whatever. At this point it's borderline harassment, stop calling me.Schuerger Law Group Response

I apologize if you are receiving unwarranted phone calls. Unfortunately, the phone number being called was not provided. If the phone number that is being called in error is provided, we will be able to ensure the number can be marked as incorrect and Do Not Call. You may provide that information by either calling ************* or sending the information to our support email address at *************************************Review from Renee C

I’ve gotten a couple robo calls from these people, which my phone autoflags as spam. None of these calls leave messages that state any useful information. I sent them an email asking for a couple simple pieces of information-the address they had on file for me, and the reference number associated with my account. The response I got was from a ******** ******* though this person signed the email off as “*****”. The email was full of broken english and weird random auto capitalization. It insisted that I call this person at one of the phone numbers my phone was already marking as a spam caller. Yikes. If you ARE a legitimate debt collector, just trying to get people to pay up, why not just give me the information I need to do so when I literally go directly to you asking for it? I am extremely suspicious of this group and I will absolutely not be giving them any personal information, nor will I be giving them anything related to my bank account. I will be reporting them to the attorney general.Review from Amy W

Schuerger Law Group, Columbus, Ohio, collection calls are a Scam. They claim I owe roughly $3,500 Not only is this a false statement, I have never lived in or traveled to Ohio. They have called me AT WORK on the GENERAL LINE (re: anyone can answer, which is unacceptable) from number 614.674.6863. I have been called twice in a week, 1/10 (2:46) and 1/16 (11:05). The same person called both times (couldn't get his name, surprise surprise). They have also been harassing my husband on his WORK cell phone (2x on 1/10 etc). Careful consumer, Schuerger Law Group will call and ask to confirm your birthdate and address - which they ask to look official (note: during the second call I received, the number they gave as 'mine' was actually my husband's and 'my' address was from from the building I lived in over 8 years ago), but you are not required to confirm that info. This is a scam. Don't send them any money. In fact, contact the Ohio Attorney General right here: https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/About-AG/ContactReview from Brenda P

This is a scam company. I have paid HUNDREDS of dollars to these people for a debt that stated that I had. When the "debt" was almost paid off, they told me that they have cancelled my additional payment and that they do not have "access to the account anymore." I am out of HUNDREDS of dollars that was paid to them.Schuerger Law Group Response

I have reviewed the Customer Review submitted by ****** ****** and the account itself. During the recent call Ms. ****** had with ****** ****, of our office, Ms.*** offered to help her log onto the Attorney General’s website to view her account, but she said she had done that. Unfortunately, her account is no longer assigned to our office and further payments will need to be made by contacting the Ohio Attorney General. When she logs into her account on the Attorney General’s website, she will be able to see her payments. As Ms. **** said in her call, if she has any questions, she should feel free to reach out to her. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have causedReview from Carle L

I settled with this law group and made a payment with them on July 31, 2023 but they never filed a dismissal in the court action against me. I would not have had any action against me at all had they not been using an address my husband has not lived at for 30 years. After a month and three requests for receipt for my payment, they finally filed the dismissal on August 29 and sent me a receipt on September 5. That was after the court reissued a summons to the wrong address again. They didn't dismiss the case or correct the address. Shameful. Prior to this they say were contacting me since March -- at the wrong address and that I never called them back. I have no phone messages from them. They must call from a robo call number that leads to nowhere. If a debt collector leaves a voicemail they must state under FDCPA that they are trying to collect a debt. I'm sure they do not leave voicemails because they assume everyone wants to dodge them. I would have happily paid this if they'd been sending correspondence to my correct address or leaving me detailed info if/when they called. They're proud to be shady bulldogs I guess.Review from Catherine S

I had a man call and say that I needed to sign some papers to be sent to the **** *********************** to consolidate a ******* loan from ***********************. All of my student loans are paid in full, and have been for years. I attended that school 25 years ago. It doesn't make sense that I'm just now hearing of this and it's not on a credit report..it feels like a scam, I do not trust this at all and I'd like to be removed from their calling list.Review from Beth S

I received a robo-call with a return call number referenced but no additional information in the voice mail. The obvious robot voice did not state who the call was for. I looked them up online to find out who was calling. There has been no additional information, no letters sent, no marks against my credit score. If this business can't prove I owe a debt with a written letter sent to my home, I want them to stop calling.Schuerger Law Group Response

I have been getting weekly calls for months with just a vague voice-mail, no name of who it's intended for or why. I called today and asked to be removed again, (I called and asked a couple months ago, too) and informed the guy I talked to that this law firm has awful reviews all over the internet. I feel this "law firm" is just trying to scam people. If you get calls from them report them to the **** Attorney General. I'll be waiting for my automated response just like all the other complaints here have gotten.Review from Valeria M

They will call and say I am name with ******** Law and say they actually have good news for and then stated my full name and birthdate and requested a return call. This is misleading to get you to call back and illegal. If a debt collector leaves a voicemail they must state under FDCPA that they are trying to collect a debt. They did not follow the law. Also on the same day I received multiple calls I got mail from them trying to collect the same debt in triplicate. All dated the same day, all the same form, separate envelopes. This is an unnecessary amount of contact. 2 phone calls, 1 voicemail and three letters in one day is harassing behavior.
