Price agreement sheet overstated tax and incorrectly puts fees before tax. Sheet doesn't disclose rate. They know the zip code/county rates and used 7.6% instead of 7%. When the inflated price is discovered by the finance mgr, he increases the price of the car on the Retail Purchase Agreement. He had to correct the sales tax and move the fees after tax, however, in order to keep that final due he had to inflate the cash price of the vehicle. After discovering this after I got home, I called this manager. He claimed a mistake and reimbursed the overpaid tax, and an extra $100 I asked for because they did not disclose the $100 license fee on the sales sheet. I reported this type of business to the BBB as a complaint to show others but since there was nothing to resolve I was told to enter a review. This can't be an isolated incident. The ** responded that he would offer me two service intervals. I declined at that time. This all happened in April. Time went by and decided to reach out to ** to find out his handling. They are not updating the sales sheet to show the tax rate and move fees after tax. An easy fix done in minutes which would avoid all of this for all buyers, but they are sticking with their vague sheet. Coming from sales myself, this unfortunately is to create vagueness to help negotiation, but it should never be for misleading or fraud. I asked about the finance manager who changed the numbers to keep the inflated price. The ** explained that he is still in the role but it's been handled internally, and that the change of the price of the car was simply a mistake. My view, it was 100% not a mistake. Pretty tough to make a five figure number by mistake go through multiple fees and taxes and end up with same inflated total due. Disappointed in **s responses. He offered two free service intervals and ok, I accepted this time. Not about money and service coverage. Then why this late review? Awareness to the public.

On November 15, 2021, I took my Lexus 350 Rx into Germain on *************** to have the splash guard under my engine reconnected and a detailed cleaning. The service department then informed me that my Head Gasket needed repaired. I had never had any engine lights come on and in February 2021, ********* did a complete diagnostic assessment and did not see any issues. They also said my rear Axle seal was "leaking very badly" and needed fixed. They also stated my front break pads and roters needed replaced. In February 2021, ********* replaced my rear break pads but stated that the front pads and rotors were fine. I agreed to the Axle seal being repaired and the breaks. Then they said when they test drove my car after all of the work they did, the speed sensor came on and needed replaced. Prior to taking it to ****** my engine light had never came on. After it was there for a week, being repaired, the light came on. I wanted a second option. So I took my car to ************************* on ***** road. They completed several diagnostic tests and their reports stated that my Head Gasket was fine and did not need repaired. They also said there was no sign that the axle seal was replaced or repaired. Lexus wanted to charge me $5100 to replace my Head Gasket and $1700 for the computer speed sensor when in reality, the Head Gasket was fine. The true issue how is that I've gotten my car back and there are 3 yellow lights, one for "check ADW" and "engine light". ****** tried to reset but the lights keep coming on. How is it that when I took my car into Lexus, asked for the cover to be repaired.. I leave with a car that has engine and ADW lights on?? I tried to resolve this issue with Lexus but the manager *** B refused to work with me. It simply doesn't add up. Car goes in with no lights on.. comes out with yellow lights on?? If there were engine lights on, I would have asked ***** to do a diagnostic to figure out the issue or they would have told me after the first list of issues that there was the engine light on...but they did not. Not until they repaired the rear axle seal and then took it for a test drive, did the light come on. I was on vacation and out of town for medical treatment for three weeks. My car was under their care for the entire time. I believe they are responsible for this issue related to my speed sensor being damaged. They refuse to take responsibility for it and made tons of excuses. I trusted Lexus but they lied about my Head Gasket and broke my speed sensor. Frown Good example of taking advantage of older women who knows nothing about cars. Trying to get me to pay for things that don't need repaired and using technical terms to avoid taking responsibility for their mistakes.
