      STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would NEVER use again for 2 very big reasons. 1. The subcontractors that they hired out felt that it was ok to roam all over my property (areas where there was no work to be done on their end) and smoke cigarettes. Not only did they smoke around my property that is a wooded area, they thought it would be ok to leave the butts in my flower garden. They were at one point standing under my deck ( I could see their hands holding onto the upper part of the deck) in a landscaped area. I was afraid to go out and see what they were actually doing because there is ZERO reason for them to be under there when they were supposed to be painting the front fascia board and front garage. Lastly, the invoice we received after the work was completed was more than the contract rate! When we reached out about it, they said the amount we agreed to did not include an additional $700 for additional painting. Note to the individual that typed up the quote, when you put an amount on the contract line that says "Total"....that is the total!!!!!!! Deceitful and unprofessional is the name of the game with Fresh Touch.

      We have happily used Fresh Touch Custom Painting for 8 or 9 years, always for outdoor work. This year we asked them to repaint our kitchen cabinets--outdated dark cherry, banged up in spots. We followed the advice of the designer provided by the company: white cabinets with a navy island and brass hardware. It looks terrific, like a brand new kitchen.While work on a kitchen is always disruptive, we did not have to empty cabinets or be careful of wet paint. The painters worked thoughtfully and steadily so that we were only slightly incovenienced. I would recommend Fresh Touch wholeheartedly.

      We had the worst experience with this company two years ago when they painted the exterior of our house. Four problems occurred:1) They left scraped paint all over our yard. They put down drop cloths, but the paint flew everywhere. They didn't even try to contain it. When the painters picked up the drop cloths, they just shook them out before moving on. We have a small child and were scared that he would put a chip of paint in his mouth when playing. It cost us thousands of dollars to have the soil replaced on the perimeter of the house. 2) They must have literally sprayed (instead of painting) the stain on our exterior decking. The deck had never been finished before (installed a year earlier). The semi-transparent stain looks like the darkest ***** paint I've ever seen. Less than a year later, it had already started to peel off. Now, two years later, it's peeling everywhere - even in places that we've never stepped foot. It will cost us another thousand or more to have the stain stripped and re-stained.3) The painters left their ladder in our yard for over a week during hot weather. The sod we had laid just a couple years berfore died in the shape of a ladder. Two years later it has only just grown back.4) We made it really clear that we wanted an old satellite dish (from previous owners) removed from the top of the house while they were up there painting. I made sure it was part of the agreement to take it down. I told them again at the final inspection. They said they would come back and do it. They never did. It's still there.I urge anyone considering this company to find someone else. I would have given them zero stars if I could.

      Thanks so much for your review especially after two years. This review does not reflect the values of our company and it is the first we have heard of any issues. I am not sure why you would of paid us in full if this happened and you are now passive aggressively leaving a review two years after the project. As a homeowner, I would have been appalled and asked for Mgmt or the Owner to come out immediately especially, if you spent thousands of dollars on new landscape. Paying a company in full but having thousands of dollars in repair is not stacking up. You never reached out to our Mgmt team with these concerns instead you sent us a picture a stain stick newly dipped in stain two years after your deck was done and said this is what your deck should look like and we did it wrong. Your deck is not a stain stick it and it is an aged deck. Your deck has been stained numerous times so when you apply stain on a aged deck that has been stained that much you will see color variations. A stain stick is a piece of cheap pine. It will stain lighter for sure and also it stains light because it doesn't have ***** previous stain jobs on it. Your deck floors should be maintained every two years due to the weather, ice, sun exposure and foot traffic hence floor surfaces not having a warranty. You will be hard pressed to find a company who warrants deck floor surfaces. The railings and vertical surfaces will last up to 5 years hence your floor being the issue. The picture you provided is also down to bare wood. Those are previous coatings failing not our newly applied coatings. Your deck will age differently in areas and old stain is now releasing itself from the substrate. If our coatings were peeling you wouldn't see bare wood. You would see the previous applications. I truly wish this was handled differently and you were to professionally call us and set up a time to discuss your concerns and see what can be done to help assist you. It did not go that way and we wish you best. We appreciate your business and we apologize our best was not good enough.

      First, I don't find your accusatory tone very productive. I suppose we could have refused to pay, but my husband runs a small business and doesn't believe in not paying bills. I might have done it differently, but I'm proud of his ethics. Second, you may speak with your employee ********************* who handled the work and our subsequent conversations. During the final walk through we explained our complaints. My husband was so upset by the conversation (specifically about the paint shavings) that he refused to speak with ***** ever again. I also emailed with ***** just a couple weeks ago about the deck issue and his response was dismissive. You can ask him for the email exchange and see that it was handled incredibly professionally (at least on my part). It was after his response that I did something I rarely do: write a review. Third, the decking had NEVER been stained/painted before. It had been built brand new the year before (read: new but properly seasoned). The excuses you make for why it would be peeling like this do not add up. (I shared additional photos with ***** of what it looked like only a year after the "staining" if you would like to see those.) I have no desire to hurt anyone's business, but by the time we're done fixing this, it will have cost us about as much to fix all of the issues as we paid you to do it in the first place. No one should have to deal with that.

      Fresh Touch painting company is wonderful! We used them to paint our condominiums. Their prices are competitive, they show up on time, they went above and beyond, they use a high quality product, they clean up after themselves, they are respectful and we are VERY HAPPY with them. We will use them again.
