      While doing a tow of one of our dump trucks, this company attempted to access any area of the truck that wasn't necessary for the tow & in turn broke a part that we were charged to fix by our mechanic shop.

      On 3/13/24 at 620pm the owner of the **** **** ******* **** ***** **** ***************** broke down *** ****** ********* *** **** **. The owner told our dispatch on a recorded line that the dump truck was empty, that was not true when we arrived is was loaded with dirt. This is a 31yr old dump truck that has not been maintained very well, it was rusty and beat-up. To move the truck, we had to air it up. there is multilabel ways to air it up the compressor didn't work, we tried to use the air drier to air it up however due to the poor condition, it being old and rusty the bolt broke due to mechanical failure. In no way is this our fault the bolt broke, we have priced the bolt its less than 15.00. the customer is asking for the whole amount of the tow, his 31yr old dump truck was broke down when he called us so we will not be refunding any amounts to him. The customer has stated the mechanic told him various things in regard to that, after speaking with the mechanic our self's the mechanic stated the only thing he told the customer was there is various ways to air up a truck. we did try to use the air compressor however it was old and twisted. the mechanics **** AT *** phone number is ###-###-#### if you would like to speak with him further regarding this. I attached a photo from a different truck for reference so you can see the bolt we are talking about, we tow 15 to 20 trucks a day and this is how they are aired up. I understand he would like a free tow however we will not be giving him that as we did not damage or cause his truck to break down it was broken when he called him.

      I am rejecting this response because there are several things that are not true within this response. First of them, I have never asked for a refund of the tow amount. We needed a tow & they provided that for us, there's no disputing that! And while our truck is not broken down or poorly maintained, it is a good narrative to push as to why the company broke the part. In other words, it is your opinion that our truck was/ is in poor condition & it is our opinion that it isn't. But was is FACT is that the mechanic who fixed the issue stated, that they have no idea of why you even attempted to access that area to try to air the truck. They went on to say that there are a few places that you could've try to air the truck & that one would have never been one of them. And the mechanic at the shop will attest to that. As a matter of fact, when I called you & told you the same thing, you said that you've been towing to that shop for years & that you would go over there, speak with the mechanic & call me but you never went so, of course I didn't get any call. When I called you (twice) to see how this matter can be fixed before I take it to another level, your response was, you'll just have to take it to another level so, you are getting what you asked for.

      The truck was poorly maintained if it hadn't been then there would have never been a need for the tow. I am not going back and forth about what the mechanic said as I personally have spoken to him and know what was said. There is nothing else i can do for you other than advise you to maintain your equipment in better operating condition and upgrade your equipment, operating a historical truck on highways for general operations isn't good practice.  Your complaint and response are simply true, and do not accurately state the facts. What you are saying the mechanic said is not true as I have spoken with him also. If you have nothing new to add then we will close this as the back and forth is getting us no where and I will not issue a refund for a service you requested. Please maintain your equipment better in the future and safe travels.

      I am rejecting this response because: You simply aren't telling the truth! And even worse is, you are attempting to double down on your story. You have close to 60 different 1 star reviews online & almost 10 different 2 star reviews. Since all of these people can't be telling lies, it appears that your service is just not up to almost 70 different folks standards! All of this could have been avoided if you would have just tried to hear me out & asked what could you do to fix the situation. And we would have been more than reasonable in working with you but, when you tell a paying customer who's reaching out with grace (when I was the one wronged), that "I guess you're just going to have to take it to the next level", then you get all of this!! There's no way I'd be able to walk into you place of business, break something that cost you a few hundred dollars to fix & simple say that I didn't do it on purpose or blame it on being old. Sorry, that's poor logic & even worse customer service.

      4/23/24 As i have stated I am rejecting this complaint. The complainant is lying and saying the mechanic at another shop said things that i personally know he didn't say because I spoke with him. I have rejected this complaint please close the case and do not contact me further about this as its only going back and forth its not beneficial as he is lying.

      We parked in a garage parking space. The sign say reserved for bridge parking which is where we were. We were towed by a company. We looked through the whole building there is no signs at the entrance about being towed or where I parked that I could be towed. We called the company, they were aggressive and they gave us a false address. We contacted Dublin police. They agreed there were no signs. He even pulled up a code that states the law is a person who reserves that space has to have a no parking sign. The police says we need to get our car back then file a complaint to get our money back. We got there they said it was $150 for the tow then a $125 fee for late fee even though they state open 24hour. There is no sign with a time they are open and closed. They also wrote up a receipt that has the wrong time. We parked there at 5:30pm and when back to my car at 7:50pm. It states they towed my car at 8:43pm. I want my $291 dollars back because this was unfair and they not a right company and they are making their owe rule. They have no signs about anything!

      Good afternoon. This is in response to your letter ref# 18665377. We are contracted with Bridge park garages to tow vehicles that are illegally parked in reserved spaces, We have towing signs posted at the entrances and exits as required. None of facts in  Ms ******* statement are correct.
      The impound occurred 12/30/22 at 8:43pm.
      The private impound tow fee is 129.00
      Private impound storage fee 17.00
      After hours fee 125.00 because the vehicle was released  12/30/22 9:31pm after Office hours, our office hours are 8am-6pm monday-friday. Towing is available 24hrs a day. Tax 20.33 brought the total to 291.33. Please see the attached photo of the vehicle we towed for illegally parking, The sign on the wall behind the car shows the spot is reserved for 002, that and the complaint we received from the garage is why the vehicle was towed. We advised Ms ***** if the car was picked up during the normal office hours that there would not be a afterhours fee, she still choose to pick up the car after hours after being made aware of the fee. When Ms ***** arrived at our lot she came with 3 men who were armed, Our drivers were threatened with a gun over this car being towed and had to deal with that as a result.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I have submitted ever paper and document with every time and proof. They are not telling the truth about the time. Also I sent proof they have to have signs that state you CANNOT PARK HERE. Yes I had my husband and brother whom paid for my car to get out and my cousin because we road together to the skating rink. Also nobody had a gun on them and there was cameras there I’m not sure if they work but nobody had guns and we had police that were going to meet us there but we’re dealing with an accident at the time. The 3 men that they had at the shop were aggressive and taking there jackets off ready to fight and the own hid behind a door the whole time. This was a scam and even the Dublin police said so. I would like my full refund back ASAP!

      I wanted to send a video proof that there aren’t sign up in the garage parking lot that we parked at. As well as they stated we had gun which is a big statement that is completely false and I didn’t know if you could get there surveillance video to prove we didn’t not and that they were very aggressive with us. 

      As I stated in my first claim by law which I send the law for out state that have to have a sign that say to do not park there. Right above the reserved sign or else people things it’s reserved for the parking

      We have already addressed this. the signs are posted as required by law. she was parked in a reserved spot that we have attached the photo of twice in prior emails. we addressed each statement made in the complaint in our prior correspondence. there is nothing else we can do, we where directed by the garage to tow the car for illegally parking. please close this case.

      I was involved in an auto accident on the 16th of January 2022. At that point the police contacted this tow company to tow my vehicle. The police informed me that the car could be towed to my home which was less than 3 minutes away. The tow company arrived and refused to tow to my home. They insisted it go to the tow lot. The next day my insurance company was going to send a tow truck to take my vehicle to get repaired. The tow company advised unless I came to their location and signed a release they will not let the car get fixed. I went there and signed the release. Two days later my insurance company advised that the tow company is refusing to let my car get fixed till they receive the check from the insurance! I contacted the tow company and a rude person told me: "that is going to take a bit to get fixed anyway. When we get the money we will let the car go" An insurance company sent them a check! They are treating me like a dead beat that won't pay the bill! They are delaying my car getting fixed!
