I spoke with Kimball Midwest company representative (****** ******) 10/7/2022 regarding I had called Kimball Midwest on 10/6/2022 spoke with staff ******* which I explain a payment our company *****'* ********** ******) had made to Kimball Midwest company by MISTAKE.
Kimball Midwest company received a bank check from my bill payer ESL Bank sent on August 22, 2022 the amount of $ 1020.00 I relayed to Kimball representative ******** ******, Your Kimball Midwest company cashed this check – it cleared my bank on August 29, 2022
Again, your company received this $ 1020.00 billpayer ESL bank check by MISTAKE. I do not owe your company anything. My account number at your business is ****** ******* ********** ****** LLC I am asking your company to refund my $ 1020.00
Today's date is Oct 24, 2022 I sent Kimball Midwest respresentative ******** ****** an email with this information: "I spoke with you ******* ****** on 10/7/202 you emailed me a screen shot your Kimball Midwest company's check refund. Letting me believe it was mailed out 10/7/22 - You had our company watching for the refund since this 10/7/22 date you specifically said the mail was slow. 16 days have gone by.
US Postal relayed 1-5 days is standard for any mail to be delivered - even from OH to NY Questions asked: *Has a refund check for $ 1020.00 been mailed ****** *********** ****** LLC ? * If so what is the exact date of refund mailed + Is there a tracking number for this mailed refund? No reply from Kimball Midwest Company representative ******* ****** on email I sent. I did received a call from Kimball Midwest representative "Ms ******".
This Kimball Midwest representative relayed the 10/7/2022 refund check had a 10 day hold + on 10/17/2022 the refund check comes to a processer is held there until mailed. Ms ****** said there is a process - that I do not understand the process. I said I understood this your company owes me $ 1020.00 refund of the check it cashed

Ms. ****** reached out on 10/06 requesting a refund for a payment that she sent to Kimball Midwest in error.
We immediately processed the refund request on 10/07 and advised Ms. ****** via email to allow a few weeks for the check to be received.
We did not inform Ms. ****** that the check would be mailed on 10/07 (Please see attached email).
I personally reached out to Ms. ****** on 10/24 to explain the check refund process in detail and assured her that the appropriate steps were taken in the handling of this request. It is our hope that she has now received a full refund of her payment totaling $1020.00. If she is still experiencing delays, we would be happy to send a new payment via UPS or FedEx.

*imball Midwest Company Cashed our company ******** Automotive Repairs LLC ESL Ban* chec* on August 29, 2022
Our company ******** Automotive Repairs LLC account number is ****** with *imball Midwest company. Please company ******** Automotive Repairs LLC has not done any business with *imball Midwest company since 2019. Our Account ****** has been inactive with zero balance with *imball Midwest company since 2019.
Our company ******** Automotive Repairs LLC found this error mista*e of $1020.00 ESL Ban* chec* on October 6, 2022 Immediately notified the *imball Midwest *imball **** ******* *** Columbus, OH 43228.
This attached copy of ESL Ban* chec* from company ******** Automotive Repairs LLC ban* account was sent by mista*e to *imball Midwest *imball **** ******* *** Columbus, OH 43228. The attached $ 1020.00 ESL Ban* chec* should have been sent to *** **** ** *** ***. Delphos Ohio 45833 We have since paid *+M Tire their outstanding amount owe $ 1020.00 We also paid the late fees $ 40.00 to *+M Tire
No than*s to *imball Midwest for the hardship is has caused our company with its intentional delays to follow through sending the refund chec* as they should.

Than* you BBB of Central Ohio in regards to consumer complaint #********. Dealing with *imball Midwest Company customer service representatives has been filled with delays and runarounds. Our company had to file a complaint with BBB of Central Ohio to get our refund owed by this company. This company truly need to loo* at how it treats it's customers - This should have never happened.
PS: Our company would have never done this to anyone/or another company. We would have acted on notification of mista*e. We would have sent mista*e refund chec* that day with a note sorry this happen. But hey we treat our consumers better that this and stand by our business.
