It is our understanding that you received two checks from us for your settlement. You picked up the first check from our office on 6/13/2024 and the second check on 6/25/2024. Per a conversation with your paralegal on 6/17/2024, you stated that ********** would not deposit your check due to unpaid fees on your bank account and that you were unwilling to pay these fees. This is an issue that needs to be addressed with your bank and not KNR, as the checks that were given to you are viable.
We have reviewed your complaint and can confirm your legal team provided excellent support and assistance throughout the legal process. In July 2019 I was in a car accident. Knr represented me. I was incarcerated in September 2019. In November 2020 I wrote to knr to inquire about my settlement. They told me that I signed the settlement papers and requested a new check to be issued and sent to a ******** bok. Knr said I contacted them by email and told them to do this. In their letter they state they knew I was incarcerated because they spoke with my emergency contact and they informed them of that and that I was unable to sign the forms. When I informed Knr that I couldn’t have emailed them and that I never signed anything and that the person they sent the check to forged my signature as I was in federal prison they told me it was my problem and I needed to go after ******** bok. I never told them to send her anything and I never signed anything accepting any settlement. All the papers they have are forged and I informed them of this in 2020. The signature on my consent to represent form isn’t even close to the one on the acceptance papers and the check. I find it very unprofessional that they sent a check to someone knowing I was in jail without ever speaking to me or asking my emergency contact they have on file if it was ok. I feel they just wanted to close it and get their money with no regard for my best interests. The reason for the delay on the complaint is I was just released from jail January 27, 2022 and I tried to talk to them about the issue and they will not. They told me it’s my problem.Business response

Law firm contacting my work and personal number with spam texts and calls. Nothing but ambulance chasers. Total harassment and I will sue if not stopped.Business response
