      The Credit Union on Manhattan is participating in unfair, deceptive, and discriminatory banking practices against its members. They attempted to steal a little under $700 from me and my family...even after admitting to a mistake made on their end. How my CD term and interest rate got amended internally, is a mystery to me. I opened up a 6-month CD at a rate of 5.25% with an opening deposit of $25,000. On March 26, 2024, I was told that the CD wasn't opened properly, based on the computer system, it was opened for 6 months at a rate of 1.99%. WHAT!? They then attempted to close out the account (short of nearly $700) w/o my permission to cover their tracks. I told them I would find my original paperwork and return. They did nothing to help me even though it was their mistake. I believe my skin color played a role in the lack of assistance. Needless to say, I found my original certificate and it stated what I communicated from the start: a 6-month CD opened at a rate of 5.25% with an opening deposit of $25,000. Thieves! Crooks! Pay the additional monies owed to me. To all members, keep your paperwork and all receipts! I think they steal money from people all the time. You chose the wrong person this time...don't play with my money!!...white collar criminals.

      We have repeatedly apologized for any misunderstanding to this member however this member's CD was opened at the correct rate of 5.25% APY. Our CFO broke down the math for the member to show her that the correct interest was earned and paid out. She was not shorted nearly $700. A screenshot was also provided from the system to back up the math and show the correct interest being applied to the CD. There was daily communication with this member to explain that there was no mistake made when it came to the CD. The only time the CD earned 1.99%APY was the first day of RENEWAL at the new interest rate (1.99%APY). For the entire term of the original CD, she earned the full 5.25%APY paid quarterly onto the CD. We can reassure that there were no personal attacks here or ever against our members. We take pride in our ability to service everyone within our community.

      I have had the worst banking experience in my life dealing with this credit union. My fiance and I both have accounts here and I've noticed that they treat African American members like they are committing a crime while giving service. They are also hard to get ahold of if you have any problems or questions. They are the bottom tier of banks in Toledo.

      Jeep Country does not discriminate against any member. We are currently proudly run by a female African American CEO. Mr. ***** has allowed his account to be in a negative standing with the credit union over its allowed grace period and I believe may be upset for the rules in place to guide proper procedures which are not allowing Mr. ***** to receive overdraft protection. Jeep Country stands by equal treatment of all members and staff making sure everyone is provided the tools for success.

      Every Thursday for five and a half years my money has been in my account this past year I've been having trouble with pending transactions and not able to withdraw my money credit Union is the cause of this the newer people that they're hiring and their systems
