Bought iPhone XR on 12/16/2021 at 10:07 am under the impression it was unlocked through Verizon. Due to the fact they were selling it as so. Purchase price was 349.99 Spoke to mega replay again at 10:53 am after coming home and putting my sim in to find out sim is not supported and they told me they could only give me store credit back not my money even though they sold phone under false pretense stating it was unlocked through Verizon when it's not. Went to Verizon at 11:10 and they checked the phone out and told me it was a straight talk phone not Verizon Meaning mega replay sold me a phone under false pretense. I don't see why I have to only get store credit back for a mistake they made especially when I do not want to shop with these people anymore because of this mistake and how they are handling it. I would like my money back for the mistake THEY made selling a phone as Verizon when it's straight talk. I also have video of the Verizon worker explaining that they should have never sold the phone with it being sim locked in the first place because they wouldn't be able to actually have ever seen what the phone carrier was unlocked through.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/01/17) */ The store manager informed BBB that according to the business' return policy, consumers are refunded by the original means of payment. The consumer used store credit; therefore, she was offered a refund with store credit. The phone was not sim-locked. The phone was subsequently resold without problem. This was the third altercation the business had with the consumer. She admitted that she was purchasing phones and then reselling them. The business does not sell phones to resellers. The consumer has been banned from the store. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/01/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I never had any other problem with them before this. Nor did I state that I am a reseller. I also did not pay with store credit. The iPhone XR was purchased along with a ps4 & controller bundle as well as a computer screen. The only thing I had bought that day that they sold under false pretense was the IPhone XR because they sold it stating it was unlocked through Verizon and when I got home and placed MY SIM card in the phone it said it wasn't sim compatible. I proceeded to my local verizon store on ***** rd in **** ohio they ran the phone on their machine using the IMID number and it was not unlocked through Verizon so they could not help me . I had called mega replay back to state they had sold me a phone that they said was unlocked through Verizon and it's not and if I could return it and get my money back for ONLY the IPhone XR because I can't use a phone not unlocked to my phone carrier and it was THEIR mistake for selling me an iPhone under FALSE PRETENSES
