They offered me a one month of unlimited car washes. Little did I know that hidden in their terms and conditions, theyll turn that into a subscription and charge you $30/month until you notice on your bank statements. Took me 6 months to realize and they refused to refund me.They said its my fault for not checking my bank statements sooner. Completely shady.Mike's Carwash, Inc. Response

Hello, Mr* ***** entered into our Unlimited Program during one of our promotions that we were running. Mike's Carwash had provided a disclosure form detailing our terms and conditions at the time of signing up and a text message was sent out with a link to our terms and conditions. Mike's Carwash is only able to authorize a refund of up to 3 months, in which we had completed. We had advised Mr. ***** that he could dispute the rest if he was looking for additional compensation. Thank you, Mike's CarwashCustomer Response

I was never given a disclosure form, and in fact I was never told it was a subscription. The man told me it was a "one month" of unlimited car washes. The text message was a link from an unknown number. I do not click on links from unknown numbers. I believe this behavior from ****** Carwash is calculated, fully knowing people to not read terms and conditions. It's tricking people into entering into a subscription and hoping they won't notice. And by the time we notice, we've already paid them hundreds of dollars, which they refuse to refund. They know exactly what they're doing, and it is very deceptive.Review from Candice B

Mike's Carwash, Inc.'s M.O. is to consistently say "We have screenshots and video footage of the customer's car prior to entering the carwash". They do not go further back to review previous footage of when the damage actually occurs. If you value your vehicle, do not go there!Mike's Carwash, Inc. Response

******* filed a claim with us on 6/15/24 regarding her Camry. We have gone back and reviewed video footage as far as our video footage will allow us which is April 8,2024 and we are seeing this damage on her Camry prior to her entering the carwash. I can attach the screenshots that we have saved from April 8, 2024, showing this damage prior to entering the car wash. Thank you, Mike's CarwashReview from J. D.

We understand the customer's frustration, but we have screenshots and video footage of this customer's vehicle prior to entering the carwash showing that his windows where stained and marked prior to entering the carwash. Thank you. - Mike's CarwashCustomer Response

To start off, not even a call back regarding my claim. The simply sent a letter in the mail with the weakest evidence they could use to defend their car wash scheme. Mikes car wash sent security footage from over 20 feet of distance away and the image is of extremely low/poor quality and theres absolutely no way based on this footage you could see. There was zero before and after comparison of the car windows that were damaged in which they purposefully did this to avoid making a repair. The workers there clearly saw the damage and how it was impossible to get the stain out of my window and got me a claim form quickly as if they experience damage claims daily. If this car was of true value, I would take a litigation route but its just simply not worth the time or effort. The hundreds of cars this monopoly of a car wash company damages yearly without any repercussions is truly a sin to their industry. The letter and footage they sent is laughable and truly a joke. I would not send a 200$ car from a junk yard through their ultimate wash as it damages your windows, paint, and gets water inside of your car.Review from D. B.

Worst place ever! They damaged the underneath my car and then say it's not their fault.Mike's Carwash, Inc. Response

Hello, Mr. ****** did file a claim and it was his engine cover that was coming off which is underneath his vehicle. This part does not get touched by any of our equipment unless it was already hanging down or was loose. and then it can unfortunately get further damaged. We can always walk Mr. ****** through our carwash and let him see that there is nothing inside the carwash that would touch up underneath his vehicle to damage this if he would like. Thank you, Mike's CarwashCustomer Response

The cover was not loose at all, stop trying to blame me. Your manager said it would be resolved and fixed at a dealership within days. You didn't even have the nerve to call me but instead sent me a letter through the mail.Review from Jerry S

Went to Springdale location this morning and what a waste of money and I just purchased a 6 month pass for car washers. Door panels weredirty, front and back bumpers were dirty, and hardly any tire shine on the tires. I basically came home and had to wash the car again. Hopefully I can get my money back.Mike's Carwash, Inc. Response

Was a claim filed on this? As a customer you are always able to go to the location and file a claim. If you have a claim, please indicate your claim number and name that would be helpful, and I can look into this incident. Thank you.Review from Chris G

This is not the first time I have had damage to a vehicle that I own from a wash at Mike's Carwash. I visited the Mike's on Dupont Road in Fort Wayne on 2/9/24 at 3:52. So to say the least I knew the answer before I even submitted the claim. Ask your shift manager, I have the employee number should you want it. I told the employees I knew the outcome before it even started. Your shift manager/employee was professional and tried to clean it, they also mentioned that they washed that side of my vehicle as I entered the wash and they said "I do not remember seeing that mark"....hmmm. Because it wasn't there. The employee also showed me the video. Your alarms went off and the belt stopped and your right quarter panel cleaner came to rest against my Pathfinder your manager admitted such. Their words "oh it's right there!" I watched the video with my own eyes and when the belt started back up I watched the cleaner move off my passenger quarter panel right where the mark is. I am not sure why I keep giving you the opportunity to win me back as you state in the letter. I keep buying books for my adult children too. I used a new book on this date. Unfortunate and from reading the other reviews your approach is cold and seems callous to an extent. I am a 31 year veteran of the military and I expect people, organizations, and companies to toe the line and accept responsibility. Also because of my background I am meticulous with my care and upkeep of my vehicles, my level of attention to detail is high as I like to keep my vehicles looking sharp, it is an investment. I want a refund on the remaining coupons I have in my book (6) and expect you to honor this. I will be telling my children to seek a refund for their coupon books as well. I will not be going back and please note that I want to take this higher within your organization. I left a voicemail for your claims manager and the number on the letter goes to a voicemail for another name?Review from Troy H

Something is going on at Mike's Carwash on Glenway. Very suspicious behavior . On February 3, 2024, I along with my granchildren and daughter arrived to procure the services of a company I have frequented many times before, having spent a considerable sum for them to tend to my various verhicles. All told, I have spent thousands of dollars at Mike's carwash, but I will never go there again for as long as I live. And this is why: After following the explicit instructions of the young lady requesting that I position the wheels correctly in order to pull onto the tracks, and giving me the green light to proceed, and thereby placing my car in neutral in order to ride out the rails; moments later, I was approached by a different employee, as I was sitting on the track, anticipating the wash, and asked to "turn my wheel all the way to the right, and back up," which I obliged. Then he told me "everything is good, to put my car back in neutral" (the second time I was told to do this), and that I "was good." We then went through the carwash as eagerly anticipated. We all know this drill; we've all done this a million times before. So, imagine my surprise, when upon the conclusion of the carwash, which was a wondrous entertainment for my young grandchildren , yet another employee, this time claiming to be the manager - William L - approached me, waving me to the side, only to inform me that I had damaged their equipment. Huh? You mean you let me go through the carwash, initiating all the instructions, dictating my maneuvers, such as instructing me to go in reverse while arleady on the track, in fact giving me the green light not only once, but twice while doing so, and this while never once telling me to cease and desist or get off, or end the process, and that I damaged the equipment that you specifically provided instructions for. Needless to say, this came as quite a shock, especially as thier irresponsible instructions resulted in damage to my own vehicle.Mike's Carwash, Inc. Response

In review of the incident we found that the customer was loaded correctly on our conveyor and after proceeding into the wash came out and made contact with our equipment. Pictures submitted show no damage to customers vehicle and our equipment was easily repaired. Would be happy to speak to customer or show her the video of the event.
