We hired Mr. **** ****** owner of Delegated Contractors, LLC on September 12, 2021 to paint our home beginning September 20, 2021. Mr. ****** came to power wash and prime our home in September and never completed the job. He has not been back since. I have text messages from him promising over and over to come and finish the job. He would never come back. We paid him for all the paint up front and half his labor. On September 14. 2021 I gave him an official check for $3,126.50. $1876.50 was for the paint and $1,250.00 was half of his labor fee. He began by painting the gutters and soffit black only to then partially paint over them with primer while priming the brick of the house. He quite once after I texted him after a month of him not showing up, only for him to write back saying he would finish and still have not completed the work. My house looks awful and my neighbors have commented about it being an eye sore.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/11/19) */ We place a mark up on materials so no we do not provide receipts for materials. I was paid for 50% of the labor up front and 65-70 % of the job was completed the house was excessively dirt and we were forced to use extra labor to clean the house. I suffered an injury while working at the house had to take a few days off and then weather turned bad. Conditions not favorable for painting(rainingand temperatures below 40 degrees. The customer tried to force us to work in unfit conditions but we refused. We offered to finish the job and the customer refused to allow us to finish even though The customer signed a contract. The asked for their paint to be returned and it was returned the same day. The customer also tried to steal my scaffolding and recorded me on Facebook while I was gathering my tool. There are Always two sides to every story.
