The date of the transaction was 08/05/22. The amount of the transaction was 254 dollars. This was for an over night stay in the motel. We were unable to stay in the reserved room because the room was in bad condition. It smelled of mold and mildew. The ceiling was wet with black mold and falling in over the beds. The air conditioning when turned on kept going off and blowing the circuit breaker. The carpet in the room was damp and smelled bad. There was a toad in the bathroom shower and the shower was also dirty and molding. When we told the owner we weren't staying because of the condition of the room he promised a full refund however to date has not done so. He called on August 9th and yelled at me for 5 minutes and said he would never issue a refund because of the review I left with the booking company *******. Upon reading other reviews on the Maples Motel I found that the same type reviews were given and the owner has failed to honor refunds frequently.
