Carpet company hired 6-24. Area to be cleaned 2,400 sq ft. I paid cash up front $160. My friend was at residence and text me to say he cleaned for 30 minutes. He himself verified that on his post about my complaint and stating how elated he was that he could finish the job so quick rather than addressing the reasoning behind my complaint. I went over that day to find many areas of the carpet not cleaned, stains still present, no carpet clean smell in the main living space, only in the kitchen bath area. Damp spots dry spots. I reached out that evening and kindly addressed my concerns he made no acknowledge of them at all. That being said. The next day i took a cheap carpet cleaner some solution and cleaned a couple of the areas in question. I was able to get the stains out and I pulled up so much filth there's no way the areas were done the day prior. I wanted this carpet deep cleaned because I'm moving into this place. No way I can until it's done right, which has set me back because now I do not want to pay out more money. I have every conversation saved, pictures, video from the start. He's saying he won't pay me back because my only complaint is the time frame he completed the job in. Well yes that is a fraction of the problem. 30 min, 2,400 sq ft? The other part is I have PROOF the job was not done to what I would think anyone's standards would be . I own a cleaning business and I know first hand that you can not allow ego to precede professionalism. Yet, he continues to shoot himself in his own foot because he can't admit to any wrong doing. This is all about principal and integrity at this point. The service provided was absolutely aweful..If he wants to succeed in running a solid business then at some point he simply has to get out of his own way. I just want what's fair. I work hard for my money and he did not earn the right to keep it. I can provide all messages if anything further needed. Pictures presents the facts more so than words.Business response

We first tried to explain to the customer that our new machine allows us to get done quicker with more efficiency than before. ( We had a portable cleaning machine previously) *****'s first complaint was there is no way we could have finished the job throughly in 30 minutes.. I explained that we were completely set up waiting for her to arrive and when she did arrive we were cleaning right away because of the delay to get her door open. *****'s next complaint was the floor was dry in certain areas and wet in other areas and stated we must have missed areas or skipped.. This is simply not the way we operate.. We are a growing small business and I would not jeopardize my company or compromise my hard work ethic by not caring for a job! We care for every house/business we are invited into! Please look us up and you will see we care and we would never cheat anyone! Hartford's Carpet Cleaning ?? I am rejecting this response becauseI ended up renting a professional carpet cleaner and did it myself. It took me 4.5 hours because it was absolutely filthy. I have a witness as well. This guy keeps going back to home much time it to as being my complaint. I could care less if it took 5 minutes or 3 days I simply wanted the job done and done RIGHT! CLEARLY evident from the second set of pictures the job was not even done what so ever. Simple, he thought he was going to run one over on me and he got caught. I just want my money back. I DESERVE A REFUND! Ego again overrides professionalism with this guy.

We would love to come back out as stated before. We are a small business that is owner operated. We take pride in every job we are blessed to come across. We do not cut corners, we clean them!
I'm very sorry you were not happy but the work was 100% completed by the owner **** ********.
I personally, (by myself) detail vacuumed corners, moved items left on the floor to open the entire area then applied our es steam pre spray with added disinfectant (benefect) for your move-in. I then Steam cleaned with 220 degree steam and high suction from our truck mount. I do not miss spots or try to run in and out as you have stated on multiple online sites.
Again, We are happy to come back out and clean the entire area, no problem!
To be clear:
We will not be refunding any money earned from Ms. ****
We WILL return to complete another deep steam cleaning anytime Ms. ***** **** would like free of charge. If ***** would like additional items like rugs or furniture cleaned we would extend our free cleaning to satisfy

I am rejecting this response because:I will not allow this company back into my personal space ever! Pictures do not lie. People do! My money was not earned by them and I want it back. I'll gladly move on at that point. But, I won't be satisfied until this takes place.
