Hired Jakota to replace T-111 (showed and discussed areas) as well as replace needed trim around whole house and repairs around chimney. After Jakota finished and gone (gone for 1 week) from project, our painter who was painting wood that Jakota replaced pointed out that Jakota put new wood on top of old rotted wood instead of taking it out. Also Jakota did not replace all damaged T-111 as requested as well as all trim. Jakota has been called multiple times (10/22, 10/28) as well as texted (10/23, 10/25, 10/29). My texts went unanswered, the phone calls by husband were answered and was told he would show the next day and has been a no show 2 times. Jakota was told this repair has to be done no later than Wednesday 10/29 so that the painters could paint the new wood. As of this date Jakota is a no show and I have wood still needing replaced.Business response

I'm sorry you haven't been able to reach me due to my phone being repaired. I'm also very sorry that your not happy with your service but in response to the "rotten wood" no new wood was placed over rotten wood, all rotten wood was removed and replaced. How ever there was an issue with a peice that your painter told my employee he would be able to paint over it as is and did not need replaced, when I was made aware I then cleared it with Mr ****** and he was OK with it. When it became a problem I informed you I would come replace and paint area. All t1-11 was replaced that was discussed in the contract which was to replace rotted away areas only.its very disappointing that your unhappy with your service after I have gone above and beyond with installing trim on your shed and flashing at no additional cost and making your repairs possible with in your budget the best I could. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Jakota did finally reach out to me Friday November 15 and made arrangements to come out Saturday November 16. Jakota walked our property and I addressed my concerns. Jakota assured me he did not place new wood on top of rotted wood. Jakota put a ladder up for us to check his work and I do stand corrected. Jakota did agree that he could level off a rafter that was existing so that his repair would lay flatter. I am satisfied with that fix. I then showed Jakota the trim that wasnt replaced by originally. Jakota had thought he had been right but was quick to remedy the matter and replaced the trim. I am happy he did this as he did find rotted wood that wasnt part of the original repair and did take the afternoon making those repairs for us! I am very pleased now with the outcome!
