DO NOT HIRE! Hired Real Deal Remodeling to install a dishwasher where there had not previously been one and replace countertops, sink and stove vent hood. ***** presented kind and knowledgable. We discussed the project and costs and decided to hire. ***** often came late or not at all with multiple excuses. We were without our kitchen for a lot longer than we should have. We started in Nov and finished end of March. Initial project was completed, small problems but I ignored them BIG MISTAKE. He measured our countertop wrong and had to cut it himself resulting in a jagged unfinished edge of quartz countertop we paid good money for. A few days later we noticed water under our floor boards. We quickly realized it was coming from the dishwasher and called *****. He came out and confirmed it was a bad line, shouldn't this have been caught when he tested the dishwasher? The water ruined flooring in our living room, hall and first bedroom. He took weeks to locate the dishwasher line and reinstall. We then had to discuss fixing my flooring as it was truly damaged and water was stuck underneath, I would need to remove it all. He wanted to CHARGE us for something his work ruined. We settled on having him install if we purchased materials. He made us rip up all the flooring ourselves. When he came it was clear he was upset to be there as he could be heard cursing under his breath. We noticed right away the work was sloppy and notified him, he said we were being too picky and got upset and to let him finish. I notified him again after he finished and he couldn't care less. I requested to be home when he finished to discuss(my husband was home) and he refused and left anyway. I never saw him again after. He ruined/damaged some of our materials and installed them anyway. He improperly laid the flooring. We had to pay another company to fix his work. He did not use the original lines for the dishwasher had made large jagged new holes toward the front of our cabinets thus making the bottom shelves unusable and ruining our cabinets with holes. We had to hire someone to fix the lines as those were still improperly hooked and at risk to leak again. We lost thousands paying him and fixing his work. Do not hire this company if you want it done right the first time.
