On March 29th 2022, I paid Mr. O****** $110 to fix an issue underneath the kitchen sink of my house (House A). he did part of the work and said he would have to come back the next day to complete the work because part of the wood underneath the sink is wet and would have to be dry before he can finish. At the same time He was also supposed to seal some cracks and holes around my other house (House B), so he said he will return the next day (March 30th) to finish work on both houses. The price to seal the foundation cracks (House B), he said was $125 plus materials. The next day he didn't show up, 2 days later he still didn't show up, it's been raining mostly all week. He texted me on April 4th and said he hasn't been able to return to the job because of all the rain, which I understood. On April 5th 2022 Mr. O****** texted me and said I should call him when I had a chance because because he wanted ask me for a favor. When I called him he said he hasn't been able to finish to work because his van broke down and needed $350 to go fix the axle so he can return and finish the job. I agreed to give him the money which promised to come finish the work on both houses after he gets his van. and pay me back money within 3 to 5 days. On Thursday April 7th he texted me to let me know the car has been fixed and he will put on his schedule for Monday April 11th to finish work on both houses. That was the last time I heard from Mr. O******, he wouldn't answer my calls anymore. Any time I call him, he will answer with a text that I will call you right back and never calls. He just keep texting me sorry something came up I will be there tomorrow and never shows up. and I asked him when would he pay me my money back and he texted a day later saying soon. Today is April 17th and I haven't heard from Mr. O****** again. he just came into my life me off. I just want him to go back finish the job I paid him for and return the balance of the money he borrowed to fix his van.Business response

James O****** has still not returned my money, he said he will pay me back but he is not responding to my text or phone calls. Last time I heard from him was May 4th, 2022Initial Complaint

I had a new kitchen sink and faucet installed and went to dinner. I came back to it leaving everywhere. On of the seals on the pipe was broken. The contractor told me for 4 days he would be out made several times and never showed.Business response

1.26.2022, BBB received phone call from James O****** stating that consumer altered work which voids any warranty offered by business.
