I filed a complaint against Wallace Finance in December 2023 I havent heard anything yet from bbb or them. Do I have to go to the *********************** in ***********,********* on bbb and Wallace Finance to file a complaint. You need to file on them and contact me. If you dont want to do your job you need to close your office. Your not going to push my complaint under the rug because youre in ********.This is ******* the courts can get you no matter what state you in . Your employees are the problem. You need to handle or get rid of them.Desi the finance agent illegally put Liberty motor Club on my contract without asking me causing me ****** to pay extra on my loan. Liberty dont want to refund my money.Business response

Hello and thank you for reaching out. I first want to apologize for this happening. I also want to let you know that this refund check was issued on 12/28/2023 and then mailed to State Finance in Lafayette. On 1/4/2024 we received the check in the mail, and it was posted as a credit to your account. I have attached your payment history to show the credit, I also attached a copy of your refund check and the receipt from us posting your refund. This place started calling me like 3 days before I was even due. And the day after my initial due date, they called my job and my references. That is absolutely absurd! I've been a customer of theirs for a couple of years and that has never happened. Tried asking why they did it but was told "it's policy". No it's harassment. I always pay my bills!Business response

I filed for a loan through wallace, the day of my first due payment they called me while i was at work and told them never to call me at work and that if they did it would be considered harrassment, they proceed to call from 2 different numbers every day and as soon as i try to tell them i hadnt wanted to be bothered, amanda and i got into a yelling match on the phone because i told her to stop calling my boss's phone.Business response

After being harassed and the attitude of the woman i spoke to who was very hostile when i once again repeated to stop harassing me i honestly dont feel like i could do business with wallace in any form, if they behave like that over the phone i could only imagine how bad the further abuse will be after employees are reprimanded, as it was multiple employees that i told of the issue and the problem persisted. The whole situation is something you would expect from a shady loan shark on the street not a supposed business. A professional business would never try to intimidate, bully or harrass a customer. On July 15, 2021, I paid cash to close out a personal loan from State Finance a.k.a. Wallace Finance. The person who accepted the money checked the bills with the counterfeit marker. I got a receipt, showing this was paid in full. The next day they called and stated that I had paid with a fake bill and they were reversing the payment. After this they automatically drafted the money from my account. I called and spoke with a district manager person who said the charge was being reversed, it was put back in my account, and I wouldn't have any more problems. The money was put back on my card as he said. A couple months afterwards I began getting email alerts saying my credit is being affected due to non-payment. They have been extremely rude and very unprofessional at the store level. I also remember the day that I went in to pay this bill, one of the people at the desk, was on the phone telling another client the same lie.Business response

I am a victim of identity- theft, I am writing to request that you block all accounts disputed as fraudulent on my credit reports with Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. This information does not relate to any transactions I have made. I did not give anyone authorization or consent to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by Congress and The Federal Trade Commission, which explicitly states when a victim of identity-theft dispute a fraudulent account on his/her credit report it shall be honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information should be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all data furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. 1. *************** OF H bal. $2,163.00 Acct # XXXXXXXXXXBusiness response

FRAUD ALERT! Dec 31,2021 got an email by ************ alerting me about a new loan I had on my credit report, as I had not taken any loans out for the past couple months I signed in right away to find what is going on. Equifax report it showed a Loan from Dixie Finance of Lawton OK (now State Finance- belonging to Wallace Finance) of $1706 it was taken out in Sept 2021 and it showed 2 payments made on it. Called right away Dixie Finance and got to speak to ****** ( store manager) first she tried to brush me off and said it was an error, as I told her I seen there are payments made that had to be more then an error, I insisted and kept asking her to tell me what is going on she admitted a now former employee took loans out and used clients names. also had changed contact information. ****** stated that after they couldn't get a hold of to many off there current clients, she got suspicions and that's how they found out and reported it on DEC 29th ,2021 and it is getting investigated. Of course she ensured me it will be cleared up. I have ask for a copy of the police report and a letter stating that I am not going to be responsible for that loan but nothing has been received on my end, Tried several times to contact Wallace Finance the main company per email, phone calls and all I get is we call you back, nothing happen of course. As I filed a police report myself, and got a call back from the investigating Police Officer he stated this is not the first time that he has to investigate DIXIE Finance in Lawton Ok. there had been another case a year ago! This is unbelievable, first I do not live in Lawton Ok anymore, 14 month ago I moved to a different State so I couldn't even take a loan out there even if I wanted to, none of my previous documents provide the correct information to take a loan out.. It took 3 month to show up on my credit report, how many others have been effect how many times? This is ID theft and fraud! Close them and they need to be sued!Business response
