A signed lease and deposit of $725.00 had been submitted on 02/10/22 for rental property on Wildhorse in Indianola, Oklahoma. The property was said to be available for move in on 02/13 and was being allowed to start moving belongings in as soon as deposit was received due to me staying at a hotel. Shortly after signing the contract and paying the deposit, I was informed that the floor had damages that were over looked and needed repairs. It was stated that it would only take a few days. The floor had to be completely replaced and as of 02/25 property was still not ready. I have been having to extend the hotel thinking it would be ready soon but was unsuccessful. I had requested a refund on 2/24 which the assistant had no problem agreeing to since she was fully aware and understanding of the situation I was now in. Yesterday, 02/25, I received a call from her manager which I had never spoken or done business with and stated that a refund was impossible. Ms. Christy stated that the deposit was used to hold the property. A property that hasn't even been ready to rent regardless of the deposit status. I've tried communicating but everything has been unsuccessful, and this has now turned into a much bigger expense for me. (Please see attached)
