I contacted 3S to install a solar power system, they showed up with incorrect or lacking equipment required to complete the install. I sent them a list of items requested prior to their arrival and told Shawn over the phone what I wanted and what was needed to complete the system install. Again, they failed, did not bring panel clamps, metal roof screws, silicone, and the proper charge controller. So Shawn said he could reconfigure the panels wiring in a 24 volt series which he apparently installed incorrectly and the manufacturer, ****** confirmed this, and I forwarded Shawn the wiring diagram ****** suggested, and Shawn basically refused to acknowledge, not withstanding the fact, they removed mypanels more than 3 times, creating a possibility of a major roof leak situation, and lessening the structural integrity of the metal screws holding the panels securely to metal roof. They also wired my battery bank incorrectly on more than two occasions, I have pictures and I also forwarded a diagram of his installation vs a diagram of a correct installation, which I texted to Shawn. I paid him over $2,600 to date, and the system still does not work. They have compromised over $800 in batteries in my battery bank, which could destroy the batteries due to their lack of abilities to correctly install the system.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/03/02) */ Dear BBB, the client originally reached out to purchase parts of his specification. This is not something we normally do, however at the time him being in an offgrid situation & storm rolling in we agreed to do it to lend a hand. **** stressed he knew what he needed and he just needed, due to remote location, some help ordering it, which then turned into delivery and helping install, which I I will point out frankly he instructed us on every item & did not fully communicate his environmental conditions or his storage system being depleted to well below recommended levels when we arrived. It is unfortunate that his system is obviously not performing to what he thought it would. We communicated this verbally effectively multiple times that at his loads & shading his PV System would need to be much larger. Attached the technical data from the manufacturer , of his choice, to show that his system design at his load in wide open sun would run an average of 2 hours a day. I believe he was misinformed or was given unrealistic expectations about the output capability of his due to the height of surrounding trees (up to 60ft tall & very dense evergreens) & kWh/m2/yr per NREL. Solar irradiance is paramount in this type of system. Link to manufacturers design tool... ************************************************* At 3S we take customers feedback extremely seriously, so this obviously has been on our minds since receiving negative feedback from Mr. *******. The team had a discussion about the feedback to see if we determined there was corrective action that needed to be taken. The conclusion was that after 3x of traveling back to his residence and leaving all 3 of those times w/ the clients approval, batteries charging, inverter working effectively, charge controller performing to his liking, even to the point he tried to pay before cost accounting could be completed, that there were no necessary trips back because as Mr. ******* pointed out it was not our design and if he was not happy with the equipment he specified we could be of no further assistance if the design could not be modified and added to. We do have him blocked at this time as we were told to "buzz off" & were threatened via text (also attached) & I don't want my team having to deal with that. As stated we are willing to help but in order to further assist we would need to provide a formal proposal for what is needed for his environmental conditions using Aurora Software and our specifications of equipment. I paid 3S to do a job, which, on 4 separate occasions, they failed to complete. I have too numerous of text messages to upload between 3S and myself where Sean apologizes on at least 6 occasions for failing to deliver for what I paid for. I hired another company, they straightened out the mess of wiring within the solar panels to the combiner box. I think it would be fair for 3S to refund $600. I also have numerous pics and videos showing all my batteries fully charged, and due to 3S incorrectly wiring panels to combiner box, my batteries would not sufficiently charge, and AGM batteries will eventually die. I want $400 for battery replacement. I have at least 30 screen shots of text messages, I will have to upload, currently I can only pick one picture at a time.
